Thread: FS Valo JJ Light 8-9, Nimh Shima 8-9, USD VII 9

  1. #1

Default FS Valo JJ Light 8-9, Nimh Shima 8-9, USD VII 9

The Valos and Nimhs will not come with liners. The Phoenix liners in the VIIs have been skated once very briefly and are essentially brand new. The GC frames on the Valos are also no longer available.

If you go to page 2 of the photo album, you will see that the shell on the right skate of the Lights has a small crack in it in the toe area. One of the skates is also missing one bolt receptor on the soul plate because one of the bolts broke off in it and I couldn't get the bolt remnant out.

PM offers if interested in anything listed here.

Those VII's look cool. I wonder how they compare to Cult style Razors in the same size...? Can you measure the boots somehow? Length width etc.

Thanks for trade offers, but I'm really only looking to sell these skates.

I am also hoping to sell the skates as is without parting out.

Alex, I don't have the skates with me now but I can say that the VIIs are very forgiving/accommodating in the way they fit. I've only worn the cult boot with a toe cut on Nimhs (8-9 as well), but to me the VIIs are still a little wider through the forefoot area. Because of the width, I can wear the VII in an 8-9 but not UFS Thrones, if that means anything. When I tried on some carbons size 9s were also too narrow.

Well, the condition of the nihms...they need new souls for sure those ones are about shot. I'll offer up 35 shipped for the nihms.

I definitely don't want them too narrow, but I'm looking for a boot that's only a tad bit smaller than Razor cults. Let me look into it, but I wouldn't want the liners anyways so if you want to sell those to the one guy I'd take the shells for $50 shipped. I assume shipping is around $12 bucks.

I heard 7's fit allot like cults almost to the tee...as they are a bit wider than thrones and they come up higher in the forefoot..I've never tried them though..but from the way the shell is shaped they are even built like cults kind of, which makes for a pretty roomy boot. I'm on cults now and tried SL's I would say don't even bother with them if your foot is anything like mine, those skates are for guys with skinny feet high arches, tremendous pressure points I got from SL's.

Wait, what side are you on? SL's are bigger/roomier than cults. You're saying VII's are bigger or smaller than what?

I find 8-9 SL's to be a lot less roomy than 8-9 cults man, could just be my foot though. I'm sayings 7's are around the same width and depth as cults in that size shell...but I cant be sure. I think 7's would work great for you regardless as far as what I can see. Also, SSM and nihm would give you a little more room than cults, being a toe cut cult and all.

The Valos cracked the second time I skated them. I'm not even sure how it happened.

PMs sent to Alex Coe and Contraband.
