Thread: phoenix liner problem

    Default phoenix liner problem

hi guys, i've the new usd vii pianowski and with right foot everything is ok, but in left foot the liner is very bad. the tongue slide up at the first trick and this situation gives me too much problems with pressure point in the front of the foot. has anyone that used this liner encountered this problem?has anyone a solution for this?I had thought about changing the lacing system and skip the first 2 or 4 holes, but this solution is not very good.
another solution is change the liners with jug argyle2 vcut liners, but jug vcut is compatible with VII? i've to buy it, i don't have this liner here for testing

    thanks, Stefano

no man, i have eu43, an eu42 fit me only in genesys model. in VII i can't put my feet in eu42
in this week test the liner, skipping 2 holes, more tight is the lacing system, more it hurt my foot in front of!
any opinion for argyle2 vcut in VII skate?

    is the classic throne cuff?

psyfron: yeah man thanks for the help and sorry for my horrible eng!!!
it is strange because the right liner is very very very good, also with skate open or with skate tight the tongue is in the right position.
I thought about sewing a passerby on the tongue, to pass the laces through it, so I have the same effect of Velcro in jug!you use the liner in vcut mode or high top?

seba liner is a very good liner, good padding good big tongue, flex, minimal vcut!in my opinion 3 things are not good:
don't have velcro in tongue for right position of it
don't have a rubber in the back of the liner, so it slide up in the shell.
the innersole is too much thin
if i could try an 8/9 shell with 10 liner, it will be good, because i have an EU42.5 and 10/11 shell is very big for me...
in a size 10 of VII, genesys cuff don't fit, for me pianowski cuff is too soft.
VII skate is too much cheap.
