Usd 7?
Does anyone skate these? I'm thinking about getting a pair
A few questions...
I wear a sz ten valo what size would be best?
Should I even get these or go for carbon free?
Is there any difference with the pianowski and the greys?
I'm jumping off the carbon fiber bandwagon. Any help is appreciated.
my friend have one. DON'T buy a size 10-11 7, it's just way too big. also, all of the bolts are spinning...
i hope it's not a common problem with the sevens, but my friends skate is just very low quality. sbchugo will write for sure, hope he has more info.

some people are just not mechanically inclined. every common problem turns into an issue.

So you guys think I would be fine with an 8-9 shell and ten spec ops liner?
the 10-11 shell would be too big for you (as i stated on amall). You should have no problem fitting a size 10 liner in the 8-9 shell because the toe box area is sooo wide. yet again i will recomend getting a pair of throne cuffs for these for added support.
pianowskis are much harder plastic, while the grey one are really soft.. same goes for cuffes.. if u can try the skates i would suggest trying them.. and about carbon frees..there has been said enough about the skate..search the forum
I've been rolling on the 7's for a while. Good skates but finding replacement souls are hard to find (esp. in a 8-9 shell). Also, Carbon souls don't fit on the skates either.

I've been skating Cults for 5 years or so. I just started skating the Pianowski VII's and here's my take:
They are low-quality skates, just like Cults, but the value is extensive. All skates are low quality, but at least you wont pay as much for these. They are good skates because they are simple. The boot shape is pretty great. Streamlined to fit your foot, nothing fancy. They are light because it's only a plastic shell and sole. They are close to the ground because the shell is flat and the sole is thin. They supinate a bit, but most skates do. It's not as bad as Remz or anything. The soleplate shape is really good, and you can make your own groove very easily. The hardware seems better than USD is notorious for, and the cuff is very supportive. The cuff has the 'no-slip' ridges to keep the buckle in place, too. They are better than the Cult's I love in three ways, 1) The UFS bolts are recessed in the bottom of the boot, 2) The bottom is flat so that you can put a heel pad in there, and 3) the soleplate is much more usefully shaped.
The downside: There's no soleplate-to-boot screws, just the UFS bolts to hold the sole on. There's too much torque in skating to leave those out and the soleplate bends around the boot while you're skating. Also you don't need the V-cut cuff.
Make sure you get some good, poofy liners! My foot is about 10.75" long, heel to big toe, and the shells are just a little bit large on me. I like to double buckle my skates for a better fit, too.

i had a new pair a friend gave me they skate really well people said that the cuff gets flimsy never happen to me maybe because i had a blank liner in them balanced the support . they where a bit noisy so i took the skate apart and sprayed bed liner in a can underneath boot between the sole plate and boot to get that thug that the dre powells are suppose to give ha....and added my own small t bolts on each side of the frame bolts staggered through the sole plate. they became solid and super stealthy...good skate for price with a lil elbow grease they are awsome

I have blade some grey 2012 seven and they re pretty good (except the liner)
The soul is better than the carbon soul, locks better.
I would go with some pianowski : better plastic and better liner (phoenix)
I have valo sending me a new set of shells so when those are done I'm getting a pair. Sbhugo do you know if any new 7 models are coming out? I'm worried that by the time I need them they won't have them anymore.
man don't buy VII pianowski, the liner is shit and soulplate is very slow. if you buy this skate then change the liner, buy a shockabsorber and change the cuff with throne high cuff!
VII souls are not slow. throne cuffs only fit larger shell sizes. he would be fine with a razors cuff.
VII plate for me are too much slow than carbon, razors, valo. throne cuff for large shell and razors for small shell, i know this! at grindhouse or at hedonskate you can buy the VII cuff without vcut! but man, the liner...i have a big problem with phoenix liner and left tongue
