i can agree with slow soleplate (but really? Don't be a sissy, skate faster), shitty cuff, and shitty liner on the Pianowski's.

this setup is not for all size because genesys cuff fit only small size. i have an eu43 (43/44 shell) and this cuff don't fit. carbon soulplate in 7 skate i've not test, but i've test 7 soul in carbon-free and this setup is not good for me!now i like valo too much than razors rollerblade and usd...
The left toungue is a little bit weird at first even in the Richie Eisler Carbon Frees. I was quite dissapointed at first but now I love them. I don't know why maybe because of the new 1-piece toungue, but then you get comfortable with it. You can't expect a skate to fit perfectly in your feet before it gets used to your feet and the break-in time.
asigoba you are right, but the left tongue of phoenix liner ALWAYS slide up. also after breakin period. with laces in the liner or without. with skate tight or without. i can't fit this liner also in valo standard shell.the tongue that slide up, always create a pressure point in my foot. always also after 2 or 3 weeks of skate![]()
your opinion?
Well, a foot is always bigger than the other one. My right foot is bigger than my left foot. Maybe you got your skates 1 size bigger. I did. I was regreting about that in its moment, but then the fit on them changed in a possitive way.
Update:
I have a pair of carbon free eislers on the way. Is there anything I should do to them as soon as I get them? I've heard people say run hot glue around the toe cap seam?
skate them. a lot.

I wouldnt glue a new pair of skates.
If the toe box comes loose then fix it.. i glued mine after 4 months of street skating, and i skate mostly ledges. so thats pretty good for a skate with skins.

The Carbon Free eisler's toe cap doesn't chew up too fast but when the stitchings start breaking you could do that. I've skated them for 7 months and they're in perfect shape.
