Default Some sort of new Remz?

If you check their site and see a few posts on facebook, they have something called true balance coming out in two days? I speculate a slimmer, lighter skate since thats all the rage nowadays. Carbon fiber maybe?

It probably just the new, realigned soul plates.

Sadly, there is far more to life than rollerblading.

I really wish they would re-do their skates though. I love the super deep v-cut feel of them, hate the fact that they feel like 30lbs worth of wet towels on my feet. The new soul plate allingment is certainly a good thing though.

Sadly, there is far more to life than rollerblading.

on Facebook they said that they did change the mold, not only the soul plates.

I hope the frame alignment fixes the feeling of the shallow BS plate. I suspect it's an illusion created artificially seeing as the BS isnt particularly further away from the foot than on other boots.

the backslide plate is really easy ont hose skates but i know what you mean maybe its the mis alignment that makes it feel shallow like that ^

Why did they design the skate with off centered frames? And now they are marketing standard frame alignment as something innovative. Isn't it like making a car that purposely blows up on impact and you do this for a decade and then decide to make it run properly and market it as "TRUE INDUSTRY STANDARD"?

They're marketing it because it's an improvement. Yes, it seems obvious, but Remz had a huge market share for a while and nobody complained. Carbon took a lot of their sales away and they are (obviously) going to market improvements like any other company. Props to REMZ. Great skates.

It's just going to be a new redesigned HR (Blue bottom and white skin.. if that makes any sense) If any of you have the most recent grindhouse catalog it's in there!

i wonder how much influence kato still has on the products...

looking at the haffey's 2.2, the frankies os and all the color-tech-os, i'm glad that i have some hr 1.1. in my shelf

don't like the look of the newer models (including the new hr)...

False. Kato still runs shit and has all the say. He could easily give Andy majority ownership and not have to worry about money but he'll never do it. I could go on but I wouldn't want to get too personal out of respect. Kato is the man....

Yeah Kato has a say, the same way a GM calls all the shots until his Jewish boss comes in and says, "Here's your budget for the year, you aren't going to be abel to send anyone to any conventions or workshops. We also don't have the money for bonuses or the company Christmas party. Also you're going to have to either demote or fire some people, as we have too many supervisors making salary. I have to get going, my hookers charge by the minute and I left my jet running with the a/c on to keep any of the girls from sweating while I'm not there."

Kato is a great dude, but Sunshine has the FINAL say. Andy may be nice and let Kato have as much control as he wants, but when it comes down to it he could swing his nuts around and make Kato stick to color technology instead of anything inovative.
