I think it was pretty sweet they put on something like this. The stories that were told were pretty interesting to say the least and I hope that other companies open up their minds in the future when it comes to events/contests/etc like this. I was able, like others, to showcase and explain (or attempt to explain haha) what blading means to me to a decent amount of people in and out of blading. This ranged from family, friends, teachers, and even co workers who were surprised to see what blading was after hearing me mention it many times before. Adding to that, the personal aspect was something that I enjoyed the most. This contest displayed the stories of all types of people in the world doing what we love, and it was great to so a good amount of diversity from edit to edit. Rollerblading is alive and the stories from this contest prove that. They prove that because as long as there are people all over the world willing to share their experiences with blading, more people will know what it is we do and how dope it is. Anyways, here's my edit I tossed together at the last minute just to get my story out there. Anyone else that may have thrown something together telling their story should post their edit too, I enjoyed watching them! Later.
