About the pedophilia, no, it's actually not far away from homosexuality.
Why can't one deeply love a 12-14 year old person? What's wrong with the story where older man met a 9 year old child, spent time with her and took care of her without using advantage of her until she was mature for sex (which is ~12 years old, when girl starts to get her period), marries her at that age, and live happily with her?

Who defines border of when someone is mature and when isn't? Different time and places had different border, where somewhere that border is at 21, somewhere at 18, maybe at 16, etc.

We know in the year 2012 that a girl or boy is not ready for that type of shit with an adult til 16+. I'm not for or against gay marriage. Couldn't give two shits either way actually.
My point was that people always say "sexuality isn't a choice" and use that as one of the basis's for saying gay people should be able to get married.

I don't think it's safe to say that gay marriage doesn't hurt any one. It hasn't been acceptable for long enough for the kids to have grown up.
We will need like 50 years of statistics to find out how many of those raised in a gay relationships go on to be gay (does being raised by a gay couple make the child __% more likely to be gay?), mentally disturbed, or turn out fucked up; then compare that to the statistics of straight marriages in some way.

Example of a life ruined by gay marriage:
Man falls in love with woman. Everything is going smoothly. they are going to get married. the parents have to meet.
Woman= mum and dad - Man = dad and dad.
Woman's parents are horrified and forbid the woman to marry.
After careful consideration the woman decides that family is the most important thing in the world and she respects her parents and their wishes so ends the relationship. This drives the man into deep depression and he kills himself.

You could say that gay marriage didn't ruin the life, discrimination did... but you could go further and say that it was society or even further to it's god's fault...
