Default Will a size 9 liner fit in a sz 6-7s nimh boot?

Sorry if this has been asked a million times. I plan on doing some plastic trimming as well. Should a size 9 liner be fine? i have the size 8-9 shells and really want to downsize if possible

If they are thin enough yeah.

Other wise hack the shit out of the boot and it could work.

just toe cut the shell and buy size 9 trust special ops liners and you will be very happy

I am planning on doing this as well. Im gonna be using sz9 salomon liners. Im gonna cut the shells up like frankenboots ( cutting the area where the lace holes are and cutting the bridge of the toe. More responses would make me feel better, as i am about to buy some 6/7 shells and want to make sure it works . I have the 8/9 shells and they are comfy but i think i could benefit alot from downsizing

well i think if the plastic is thin or soft than it is possible otherwise there are no chances of this to happen , well i think that you should go and buy size 9 instead of doing this all , hope you will feel sati8sfied and happy.

Like i said above, i currently have 8-9 shells with 9 liners. Ive heard so many mixed reviews saying it will and wont work. I plan on cutting the toe more, the bridge, and the lace hole area. Salomon liners are pretty thin. Im gonna wait till i hear enough positive reviews to pull the trigger on the small shells

just cut the shell up like an old rollerblade TRS(lose the bridge and trim out the eyelets)and make sure your foot will sit well in the 6-7 shell without the liner in it first and a salo or trust liner will work best

yes, you can fit size 9 liners in the shell, if you're using salomon liners you may not need to cut too much since the liners are pretty thin

Size 8 Salomon liners fit great in a standard 5-7 Cult boot. So I imagine you could fit a size 9 Salmon liner in an SSM shell without any problems.

Sorry. I had someone who was buying a lot of stuff from me that bailed. I was going to use that money to get the boots. Finally paid the guy. They should be here today. I will post pics and updates as soon as i can

People always ask if certain liners will fit in the boot. Here's the more important question: Will your foot fit in the boot?

Chris Berg's setup. Last resort if it doesn't fit how you want. They still have alot of support actually!

alright, so the skates are finally set up good. I had to go back and cut some more plastic on the top of my foot and had to cut my footbeds a little bit because toes were a little smooshed. But now they feel amazing. Very responsive. I would recommend not trying to tie the bottom of the laces near your toes too tight. I basically just straightened the laces up until the last loop holes where I stated to tighten them. I would only recommend doing this with thin liners. But i really like how these feel
