That's fucked up, it doesn't matter who's done good business with him when he's conducting bad business. Or he's not even communicating about his shit going south or something.. dude, that's like a nightmare of mine, to get jipped by another supposed rollerblader online. I wish I could help...
Sorry to hear.
All I can suggest is offer the collection agancy some money paid on a weekly or monthly plan and hope they want the money enough not to waste cash chasing you around.

i had a collection agency send me a couple letters because i owed the library $10. i dont remember if i paid or not actually, im thinking i didnt. that sucks though, im sure you can find his info somehow.
Why are you even bothering to deal with a collections agency? Have you contacted paypal about the transaction? Do you have tracking information for the package and communications with contra8and?
This, at no point should anyone outside of Paypal contact you. They like to handle everything internally, especially on the buyers side.

I got in contact with him. He told me that i was supposed to contact paypal, which is not true. He said he was going to call paypal and weed out what was fraudulent and what was not, and didnt. He will make it right
And i didnt bother contacting a collections agency. They contacted me saying i owed money

Just contact paypal, they will make him pay you the money if you have a tracking number or recipt. I have had this happen and got my money back before. Also what are you even talking about, why would someone contact you about paying money, when you are the seller?? Also I'm missing something in your story, did he pay you or not, it seemed like in your story he payed you and did you give him a refund? How old are you?

he said his paypal was hacked and someone made fraudulent charges. because of this all of his recent transactions were refunded. He told me that i would get my money back but i didnt
Do you have emails,texts, or be-mag messages(most value) that you could send to paypal, along with your shipping information? that could prove something. Just log onto your account and file a complaint with them, they will be the most help.

Wow love logging in and being told someone is bad mouthing me. I told you that PayPal would fix it but you had to file a claim. You didn't so now your going crazy on bemag. I've sold skates and bought skates on here for years with no issues. You also had my contact info for months but haven't contacted me till Monday in which I told you what to do, but you still said I needed to fix it. PayPal has told me to tell you to file the claim. I had 5000 stolen from me and only gotten back so far 2300. I told everyone to file and they did and got there money back. Ive already talked to you about this two days ago. So don't come on here and make up stories. And I'm I parent as well and didnt need this bullshit as well. Hopefully we can work out this situation in a adult manner!

Not surprising. He mislead me on the condition of a few items I bought from him last year.
U never told me to file a claim. You said that u were going through the charges and showing which ones were fraudulent. I kept telling you paypal kept saying that i owed money because of it, and you told me that it would be settled in a week, in another week, in another week, and so on. I kept having to contact you. Not once did you contact me about anything except when you saw a thread got made bc of it. Being sent to a collections agency fucks with credit. Hence why i was so pissed as to make a thread. You said you called the agency and were paying the 240. As long as you do that its fine. Someone flag this thread and MODS please delete it
I feel like it is okay to steal/scam things and money from people on be-mag as long as you take funny pictures of it of the process and post it, and tell them they are dumb.
