Something similar almost happened to me. I was jumping a gap and this car came out of nowhere, just as in this video, and as soon as I landed I automatically dropped to my side, and I had my arm fully extended, dragging my hand across the pavement (much like an anchor) to prevent myself from sliding any further, I also tucked my legs into my chest so I would not get ran over. Have no idea how I was able to do all of this within a split second. Scary stuff.
