My boot doesn't allow my 5050s to fit flush inside the soul plates. The frame is like / / because it is wider than the space allowed for the frames. I don't have any tools. I was going to skate the park at dawn, but now I don't know what to do.

All you need is a bit of filing or if you have a dremmel, even faster.

Easiest thing in the world - happens more often than you think.

All you need to do is screw the frame in, tightening the 2 screws alternating until the frame pops into the too small space and then tighten them up as you would any frame, go out and ride....

That's happened before too, but not this time. The frames are about 4mm wider than the soul space. I tried several ways and gave up. No tools = can't fix tonight.

same problem on my carbons with the 50/50 cores... only thing i had home was some old sandpaper, took me forever to fix it.

just slide the top edges of the frame on a rough surface for 5 minutes, problem solved

The boot is fine. The space in the souls to hold the frame isn't wide enough for the frames. I am not installing Nights.

I think he meant to say that you should shave the channel on the souls. it's pretty soft plastic, so it should be easy.
