    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/8076573.stm

looks pretty shitty to me, they should scrap the whole thing and start off scratch.

Only from what i can see is that its going to be pretty uncomfortable to hold

    ok so its been revealed

    Features:
    # The UMD drive is gone, can download content from PS Network (games, TV shows)
    # It is faster than the PSP3000
    # 16GB of flash
    # Bluetooth (for headset, phone tethering)

    oh yeah...and price:

Sony says the PSP Go will go on sale in October and cost €249 (£214) in Europe and $249 (£149) in North America.

why the big price difference? i have no fucking clue, but its certainly too expensive for my liking anyway, not that i was going to waste my money on one

Meh, you can download all the games you want now in rom format and not pay a cent.

I play Mario 64, supermario world, Zelda 64, Metal gear solid , Resident evil 2 and 3 on mine all off my memory card.

They want to save the Psp, sony needs to get rid of firmware that blocks emulation.

Just do a better chance of stopping Psp games being downloaded.
Have all of the psx's library available to dowload at the price of a movie on itunes.
Add a touch screen or make the whole screen touch sensative.

But in the end it will die because Sony releases junk software on the PSP.

The PSP as it is dosn't even have enough decent games to warrant a purchase. I can't see how PSP Go will change that. What's the point of showing it off without any good games to go with it. Idiots.
After 3 years of playing only Football manager games on my PSP, I traded it in for a DS. The quality of games on the DS is so much more. Chrono Trigger FTW.

I think Sony should just call it a day on the PSP.

    exactly

they cant deal with the gameboy and the amount of epic games they have.

The whole mario franchise, zelda, tetris, pokemon

this is what makes handheld games

and psp cant offer any of that

Too bad it didn't have a phone in it, that would change everything. I own a PSP with the firmware upgrade/ "degrade" and don't pay for any games, with an 8GB chip in it. So basically I own the PSP Go but a little wider and ha;f the HD space. Not like I care to upgrade in the slightest, I don't use it to often, only for boring rainy days or huge trips. The nintendo Ds is cool, but the graphics are way to garbage, and the emulator/free games option on the PSP was what quickly swung my decision on the PSP. And get real, Pokemon? What are you guys fuckin 12? Pokemon.............. okay............ jesus lol
