Indeed. The weather looks beautiful. I was only camping for 4 days and I suffered Be-separation anxiety.

I have a pair of white freestyle frames coming sometime this week, I'm going to see how they feel on my 250ccs. I'm not sure if Fiziks/riding flat are really doing it for me right now.

I might go back to riding my red Varsity's, and I really regret giving my Transfers away now.

So much confusion, every time I think I've found the perfect combination of skates/wheels/frames for my skating, I start to second guess it when the slightest thing goes wrong.

I love kids. They're short, highly emotional people who don't know anything. They rely on their creativity and imagination to get by in the world. A world, I might add, filled with giants. Amazing feat.

I feel totally opposite, V. I exercise bladed yesterday because I couldn't wait for my 'first session back' today to put my skates on. Good god why/how did I ever skate anti-rocker? Freestyle is even worse. Smooth rolling 4 down >> easier (sloppier) grinds.

Freestyle frames do not affect my style or how fast I can roll. I use Bones Swiss bearings, and they worked just fine when I was skating anti-rocker.

Skating flat has put in place some kind of mental inhibitor that causes me to over analyze what I'm doing a split second before I lock a trick, due to having to be more precise. That means that my consistency rate has dropped because I get wigged out more often.

Who knows, I might put the freestyle frames on and hate it instantly. I just want to exercise my options because it's been over 2 years since I last skated freestyle. The only reason I stopped skating freestyle was because the aluminum cores of my 2nd gen 50/50 core frames broke in 3 places on each core. I was doing just fine on them, and switched to anti-rocker out of not having any cash and getting some hand-me-down 50/50 balance frames with GC anti-rocker wheels.

It's not like I'm getting rid of my Fiziks hoard. I'd like to have some different, ready-to-roll setups in my skate bag.

Exactly the same as my experience- I loved flat, but constantly thinking about hanging up on grinds was ruining blading for me. I have no middle wheels and it doesn't affect my speed or control, but it makes grinding a heck of a lot easier!

MM I rollerbladed today. New spot was less fun than anticipated, and zero fish is still as scary as before I got hurt. Then I borrowed some shoes and a skateboard and did an ollie in like 3 tries Soon.
