I figured all skates are shitty why not just skate the ones I skate the best in. These do ,however, have less pressure points and feel way more consistent all around than the bunz. Plus I think the toe of the shell comes up way higher in these.
Biggest complaint is how shitty the hardware is on Kaltiks....but that's known

I took a break in between some 9 Month old Carbons and these so its hard to remember exactly. I think the support is the same at the moment and my even my carbons had more support than they did after I retired them. These are more supportive than my 9 month old carbons, but brand new back to back I don't really know. Let's just say in terms of ankle movement these are more consistent and natural feeling while the carbons where pretty close but still...twitchy/ticky? or clock like, small little gear like movements all around
