I think my Valos were an 8. I got an 8 Adapt, but I should have gotten a 7. If you buy a pair make sure you realize that the Vegan model doesn't come with an insole so they are going to fit bigger than whatever size you buy by about a full size. I had to put an insole in mine to get them to fit good.

This is also why they tell you to measure your foot according to the guide because Adapt has a larger sizing scheme compared to other manufacturers.

you need some bigger frames
I have the same k2 boot and Ihad plans to put the varsity plates on them as well, but when i ordered them roller warehouse sent me two left foot plates. and when i called them, they had no right foot plates and k2 is no longer making the replacement plates
go figure

The outer wheels are scribe Paul John and the inner are valo rockers. This is just an all around solid setup. Today was the first day I got to skate them and I don't think I'll be going back to valo. At least no more carbon shells.

Thats exactly what I did. The chart said I needed a 9, but when I got the 9s they were huge. Got some 8s and those were still big. Part of the problem is the vegans not coming with insoles, so you have a lot more room than a normal 8, plus they fit big already. I think alot of people have had problems with the sizing.
