Found the night plates..gotta spruce em up a bit now.

I simmered them in a pot for quite a while. They are dark as hell and are holding up well

Holly boni there is a thread a page or two back on dying wheels...I did a bunch of samples black and red. I used Rit dye.

Yea the stuff I bought from the guy was basically rit dye he said. If you let it simmer for like 20 mins the colors end up being really dark.

Yeah that's all it is, I'm sure they have some kind of powdered clothing dye in your country. Good luck, it's a pretty simple process, just try not to make a mess because dye does stain...anything.
