live in the us. bought blue h-blocks today and blue m1 dual duros. would love to get my hands on a cheap set of white moonshine antis for cheap

so i photo shopped this really terribly, but hopefully you get the idea.

like i said most of the material comes off under the heel, and i also took of material from the front of the boot, so it could fit inside the soul wrap around (the positive side is totally covered, the negative side does come up as high). sorry it's kinda hard to explain. i think why people thought they were backwards was cause i took off mostly material from the back of the souls. essentially what needs to be made flat is flatten out, and what can fit in the soul is just trimmed to fit.

i have no idea how this works on other boots, justin said they don't match as well (i'm assuming on 6-7 boots. my problem with carbon plates was they were too small, didn't even cover all of the salomon soul space. so i'm guessing the carbons are better for smaller boots and VII for larger

Did you carve up the boot in the same way Justinthursday did on his how to post (all around the bottom and more around the bs plate area)

I'm looking at the lines where the frame channal sits and where the salomon souls fit in all need to be carved off so its flat.

how does it skate? im really thinking about getting 4s here soon for my birthday. ive been skating SLs but i just got a pair of xsjados to try out from my friend, and i really like them, except they are pretty uncomfortable. how similar do they skate to xsjados and whats your comfort level? do you have a shit ton of control?

Last skates I had were 07ones, and I'm glad I bought these to start back out with, I love them.

Did you carve up the boot in the same way Justinthursday did on his how to post (all around the bottom and more around the bs plate area)

I'm looking at the lines where the frame channal sits and where the salomon souls fit in all need to be carved off so its flat.

the bottom of the salomon boot was made completely flat, all nubs grinded off. then i removed some material around the the front of the boot. i try not to sand where the bs plate is cause i have a weird phobia it'll crack there, but i'm sure you could shave them a little bit to make the souls' bs plates fit around the boot.
