i agree a lot of that is redic. but a lot of it they use a line or two from biggie because they envy him and his shit was the best, and thats a mode of respect in a way. there are a shitload of "rappers" who use other peoples famous lines because they know it will connect on a certain level with fans using everyones "biggest fan" (biggie and/or tupac). did that make sense??? im tired, getting a good buzz too![]()
yeah waffle, nas for example was payin homage and clownin jay... wayne... can't rap so he jacks everyone elses rhymes.. lol
yea dude i love rap/hip hop and that good shit but i cant even stand to listen to the shit thats out now i feel like a 60 year old or some shit bitchin bout someones music

some of those shouldnt have been there. some of those lines were so loosely "copied" from biggie lines it was stupid. but like was said in context a lot of rappers do it as respect.

this shit still not fixed.

Some were obviously meant to be an "ode" to biggie. No rapper could think they thought of that on their own.
However some lines, like "Where Brooklyn at?" That's kind of pushing it to say that's a Biggie line. I mean, it's 3 words. That might just be coincidental or it may also be an ode.
beastie boys were reppin brooklyn before biggie.![]()
be-mag and skating comprises like 90% of the music i listen too. since the sandpeople were mentioned, i've been trying to cop as much of their stuff as possible, and along the way i found some sleep and josh martinez albums.
MOJOE on demonoid has uploaded a ton of awesome stuff.
yeah its hard to find a lot of sandpeople so i end up buying most of it.Originally Posted by chimbaktu

i like to download albums and see what i like, then i'll go back and legitimately purchase the ones that are really good. i like supporting artists, but i also like knowing that what i'm buying is worth buying. i'd much rather go to a show, but considering where i live, that doesn't happen too often.
yeah i pay for my music if i really like it, and think the artist deserves the money. i bought most of the sandpeople albums i have other than the first two i got before i really knew who they werreOriginally Posted by chimbaktu
