The city of New Orleans will be featured in the next print issue of Be Mag. It has been almost 3 years since we have had any sort of media exposure and a lot has changed since then.

Unless you're some sort of cave goblin you must know that New Orleans was one of the main cities affected by Hurricane Katrina a year and a half ago. What you probably didn't know about was how our skate scene has evolved since this terrible disaster.
We spent less than a week this December with my good buddy and local photographer extrordinare Brady Fontenot getting photos around the city. This article is not your conventional trick and spot piece. We specifically chose to shoot at spots that we knew would exemplify how much our city has changed. After writing the article and checking out the flicks I think everyone involved is very pleased with the end product.
Be on the lookout for our story. More than a year later, the city of New Orleans is far from recovered but it'll take more than a little storm to stop us from skating and having fun!
