Hey Sean, introduce yourself please.
My name's Sean Cowen, I'm from Santa Monica California. I'm 15 years old and I've been skating for about 7 years. I've had a lot of people influencing my skating in the past. I grew up skating at the boys and Girls club skatepark in Santa Monica, the park is run by L.A All Day founder Tracy White, he was always putting on contest's and doing events to keep everyone stoked on skating. Tracy and that whole attitude towards skating definitely influence me a lot. My current day influences come mostly from friends.
How is your local scene?
The skate scene around here is great, living in California there are so many people to skate with. There's a skate night at a different park for almost every day of the week, so i get to skate pretty much every day. My local crew are awesome people and skaters! I skate with David Jones everyday, he drives me and the homies all to different parks and street spots, he pretty much takes us everywhere, He's definitely helped me and my skating. My friend Daniel Scarano is our local camera man, he films and edits all my stuff so i'm always skating with him or editing stuff at his house. Then there all the kids at the skate park, Tracy has like 20 little up and comer kids skating there everyday so I'm always skating with them. And then Nacho, cant forget my homie Nacho, haha. so yeah my skate scene is great, I'm always entertained.
What about you and Remz, what's the deal?
The first time i skated Remz I was at a skateshop and decided to go out on a whim and buy the Frankys after skating nothing but USD's for five years. Since then I haven't skated anything but Remz! I don't know exactly what it is but there's something about the Remz, especially the OS models, they are just perfect for my skating, I couldn't see myself skating anything else. I got on Remz through Geoff Acers, he runs the SDSF skateshop in San Diego, me and the rest of the Santa Monica crew would roll down there for all the contests and Monday night sessions, so i was down there a lot. After seeing me skating with duct tape holding on my buckle he talked to Kato and decided to get me some skates. Thanks Geoff.
Doing a remz.com flowfile to me means the beginning! There's lots more to come.
