As you might know, the Winterclash is sold out and people all around the world are asking for more tickets. The Winterclash Team just put up a note about this situation on their website. Read it below.
Quoting from the Winterclash website.
Hello everybody,
Please read this information and spread the word about it. Tell it to your friends and to everybody you know who should hear this. As you know, the Winterclash 2011 is sold out. This is not because we think it’s cool to limit the amount of tickets, but it’s because the rules of Eindhoven don’t allow more people in the skatepark. We need to take this safety rules seriously and can’t change it. You guys sent us countless e-mails asking about more tickets and we feel REALLY sorry about the fact that we can’t do anything about this situation. Please don’t ask us about tickets anymore.
We hope for your understanding and we promise a huge liveupdate with videos, pictures and reports, so you will at least be able to watch the action at home. We really appreciate your understanding and hope to see you soon!

Blader Stuff Presents: Easter Weekend 2012 Edit by Lonnie Francisco
what laws?? the same laws that tell us not to skate private and public property? that tell us we cant hold street comps where we want? those laws have never stopped anyone before and they havent stopped you from previously hosting some of the best indoor comps ever with more rollerbladers than a park can hold but now it seems that it's getting in your way and i just think it's a shame. man i miss the IMYTA days
you do know that there are laws? which exactly limit how many people are allowed in which venue. and this is just the reality. unless you build something like in berlin, you are limited with the amount of people that are allowed in. and without outside sponsorship you cant be that huge with the attendance.
as if man you cant just start being like 'oh imagine if theres a fire we all die' we'll there still are more than half of the best rollerbladers in the world attending so even if there is a limited amount of people there the best skaters in the world would die in that fire anyway so what's the diff? all i was trying to say is the more the merrier thats all. more skaters -> more money -> more exposure -> more comps thats all
its a good move for safety reasons. they were on sale for a good while and if you were gonna go, you woulda bought at ticket. imagine if too many people were in there and a crazy fire broke out, death of a bunch of rollerbladers. skateboarders would have a fuckin field day.
THAT IS SO FUCKED UP! the more people there are the more money you guys can make for the next clash. as if you would want to limit the people there for 'safety' reasons! when did people get injured in mulhausen when people there were just flooding the park? it didnt happen and it was siiiick! the vibe was unreal! well im just glad i didnt book a flight to get knocked back at the door
