Yes, I believe it can.I mean, look arnuod at the groups of friends. Most of them look the same because they wear the same clothes. Me and my friends look different from each other. 1 is boho, 1 is into lots of jewlery, and i am casual.People judge others too much, I mean I do.But I don't think it should matter what you wear. Unless it's hollister. jk
