Be-Mag Print Issue Number 39 Shipping Worldwide

You’re already catching up on edits and breaking news here on our website www.be-mag.com, so these print issues will focus on some of the best pictures and give insight into some of the best a brightest talents from all over the globe.

Issue 39 gives you a recap of North America’s favorite drinking problem with a rollerblade contest, the Bittercold Showdown, along with it’s European cousin Winterclash and all of the mischief that went down. The Conference make the best of the wintertime by heading to the dry heat of Arizona for a road trip, while half way across the planet Sven Boekhorst and his team took their signature launch ramp around the Netherlands to see what kind of trouble they could get into.

We managed to pin down former pro skater-turned pro skier Kaya Turski for a few minutes to see what’s new and how she’s continuing to promote skating in other circles and Kare Lindberg shows us what he’s been doing in Denmark.

Our Be-mag staff headed to Manchester and interviewed the up and coming Razors rider Alex Burston discussing typical British fare such as shit weather, coming up in his local scene, and his newly released pro skate. We then headed down to the dirty south of Hot-lanta to speak with David Sizemore about ukuleles, helmets, Blank Brand gear and what gets him juiced on skating.

The ever-controversial Brian Krans chimes in with his usual wit and humor about getting old and going on the hunt for pools in California. Finally, after many years of trying to co-ordinate with him, we bring you the exclusive Louie Zamora interview.

Rarely does a person have such a profound impact on a genre that it really transcends generations. When you hear the name “Louie” in blading it‘s synonyms for a number of different things ranging from K2, Senate, RB, 50/50, Color Theory, USD or Deshi; but they all are defined by strong, fast and technical skating. I distinctly remember seeing the old Senate video “Day of the Rope” and getting a copy of Espionage from a friend and jocking everything from the Senate pants, his blades or his khaki hat.

It’s been 8 months in the making but we’ve managed to pack in a ton of quality content for your viewing and reading pleasure. Make sure to support by buying your copy from your favorite skate-shop or have it delivered right to your doorstep by subscribing here.
