Arcadia Skate Park,
Which is also known as Bonita skate park to the local kids is sort of hidden, you can't really see it from the street. You actually have to walk all the way up to it. It's located in this pit on the corner of this park but it's for sure worth wondering up to. The park looks like it was accidently built for bladers. Circle coping on not just the ramps but most of the ledges, and there are some nice circle down rails too. Some tricks worth mentioning that have went down at this park are: Winston Wardwell fakie 360 over the kink ledge to flat in his Chosen Few profile. Tyler Hester hurricane soul down flat to fakie on the drop side of the kink ledge at the Chosen Few pasadena street comp. Iain Mcleod soul around the whole curve ledge land then true soul 5 out the square set up rail. Angel Guavera 180 off the highest square box to flat in the video from Cuauhtzin Gutierrez, "Untitled" just to name a few. I have seen Angel also almost back farv all the way up the kink ledge and have heard that Haffey may have done it but don't know for sure. More than anything else though that this skate park has to offer is lights. It stays lit up until 10 p.m. every night give or take a few minutes. It has super nice light all the up until about 9:00 p.m. give or take a few minutes when some of the lights go out because that is when the baseball field lights go out. The skate park is still lit up for another hour but the light is not nearly as good. Another great thing is this skate park is never crowded. Anytime I've ever been there whetherit's day, night or morning there is anywhere from 0 to 15 people there maximum. You can wax everything without getting hassled. Only bad part about the park is that there are no ramps on one of the sides of the park as you will see when you get there and although there is plenty of other great things to hit, it sort of makes you wonder. I did get a ticket for not wearing a helmet there when I was like 12 but since then I have never gotten hassled so no pads or helmet are really needed and there is no fee to skate. Also if you are skating there close to closing hours make sure you take note of what time it is. I usually don't skate past 9:56 because the lights turn off with no warning and it get pitch black. Don't want the lights to turn off on you in mid air on some trick so just as a friendly tip, watch out for that. Also most nights you will find local ripper Justin Guerrero and some of the other locals bladers getting down on the ledges there.
Overall, great park.
Has lights
open till 10:00 PM
chill vibe, not crowded
lots of street obstacles
no pad or payment restrictions and parking is pretty easy there as well
