why not comparing RoR agasint a PHP framework like Yii which does all the CRUD stuff, DB abstraction etc.?Comparing RoR vs plain PHP is like comparing a SQL db agasint plain text data stores.I really like RoR, don't get it wrong. But why do the ruby people always compare the framework, without their language would not be as good as it is, agasint plain languages??
