We had a good hour of session, and the sign-ins of skaters in the competition was finally over. The new spot at the SEB buildings was just as we expected it to be: great for rollerblading. The surface made of smooth concrete turning and tossing like a river down a lazy sloped hill, with the occasional curb to skate and a big two meter gap in the ending made it a rollerblading fantasy.
It's official: Gabriel Hyden will receive the next Chimera pro wheel. While this is a good thing in general, Chimera takes it to a new level and wants you to decide which design they should choose. Take advantage of this unique opportunity and cast your vote! If you don't want to participate in the decision-making you might as well want to watch the promotional edit Gabriel put together for this.
Our videographer on site, Ronni Skovmand, just sent in this edit of Tuesday's demo at the skatepark that is part of Roskilde Festival. Richie Eisler, Erik Bailey, Alex Broskow, Dominik Wagner, Montre Livingston and the rest of the line-up presented blading pretty damn well! Check it out!
While on tour around Europe, Montre Livingston also stopped by the Roskilde Festival. After Tuesday's demo, Johannes Jacobi took Montre aside and checked in with him about his current tour, his experience at the festival and the new SSM video for which the filming has just begun worldwide. Ronni Skovmand also prepared an edit of Montre which was filmed during the demo yesterday.
We've been to Roskilde many times now and we thought we were repaired for everything. This years demo – which was held in contest style – was by far the biggest one ever though! Conditions like temperature, sun and the large amount of girls in the audience pushed the riders' motivation to the maximum. After an hour of skating Erik Bailey finally saved his party program for the night by winning 1000 Roskilde Dollers!
Here we are again. The Roskilde Festival 2011 is running and it feels like it never stopped. Huge smiles all over the place and more happy vibes than you could handle in real live. The riders line-up is the best we had so far at the festival. We got riders from all over the world. While I'm writing this text, Montre is cruising the park and it seems like people are excited to see good rollerblading.
Hey we are here at the winterclash the comp is just about to start!
