The first ever Donate and Skate charitable rollerblading event took place in Cedar Park, Texas on April 16th 2011. The goal of the contest was to provide rollerblades to those interested in the sport, but who might not have the funds readily available to buy brand new skates. Instead of a contest entry fee, competitors donated used skates, wheels or frames. Then, during the contest, the nice staff of Rec N Roll Skateshop helped match up the pieces and assembled skates for those in need. It was great seeing so many kids excited about picking out their own parts and trying on their new skates. A few brave kids even tried rolling the skatepark for their first time – it was a beautiful sight!
Anthony Medina caught up with Austin's finest Pat Leal to talk about the past and the future. Pat has some interesting statement and of course an ass kicking edit to come up with. Continue reading.
Ian Freunscht is the next one in our new series, the "one minute, one spot" series! Ian takes us to his favourite spot which is a textbook handrail. And as you can see it in the edit one minute was just too short for this spot! Have fun!
The plan was to film a section for my next video, Dag Days, but Cody ended up having to move. Here's what we got in the few months he lived here. -Anthony Medina
Check out Ground Controls Newest AM Mason Richard. Originally this footage was to be released on "Dag Days" but since there is still lots of time left to film we have been blessed with this promo edit. Edited by Anthony Medina. Additional filming by: Will Kennedy, Daniel Scarano, & Chris Calkins. Enjoy...
Mason is good. Actually he´s so good that it makes people wonder how they can´t do half the stuff he does even though they´re almost twice as old! But we at Be-Mag aren´t bitter and that´s why Mason´s always got a spot on our site. Enjoy this great edit by Anthony Medina featuring the remz powerhouse laying down hammers on his brand new CO´s!
Micah Yeager is back! After five years of taking a break from rollerblading the legend has returned and doesn´t seem to have lost an ounce of his amazing skills! Check out these five lines brought to you by razors skates and Anthony Medina. Seems like we can expect to see a lot more of Micah in the future!
Anthony Medina shopped this sweet edit together after the edit from October 2010 was deleted accidently.
Ian Freunscht, coming out of San Antonio, TX skating super strong and fast. Repping the SYF crew and Razors, this kid is quickly becoming one of the most promising talents in the always strong Texas scene.
The idea behind the Remz Shorts is to constantly put stuff out for people to see and to promote Remz to the fullest. Here are some clips from this past Monday Night Skate at Round Rock Skatepark. It was pretty crowded and Mason wasn't trying to get hurt before BCSD, but here's a lil somethin something.
Rob is into white skates and rides for Scribe Industries. Peep game.
This is the last of Mason's 2010 footage, filmed over the last 3 months of the year.
Every new edit Mason Richard pulls out makes me feel like shit. Dude is just too damn good. Thanks to Remz for introducing the new format 'Remz Short' with Mason. This edit is only a little over 50 seconds which makes me only feel semi-shit. I still wish I didn't watch it all the way through the last trick. God damn, Mason?!
