What can I say about a contest with little to no competition? I mean there were competitors, just no competition battling for the 1st! Hands down after the second round we knew who was going to win this event. The 'TacTown Takeover', part of the NWBack2Back Series and little brother to 'Street Battle Seattle', took place on August 27th 2011 in the city of Tacoma.

At first, frustration sets in hearing once again the late announcements of this year’s Barn Burner; thinking to myself “Great no one will show”! With an epic history filled with the biggest names followed by tricks for the books the Barn Burner needs no introduction. Although after last years contest the idea of this year had everyone questioning.
Jeremy picked me up mid day and we decided to cruise downtown Seattle to find spots that were brand new or looked upon in the past. Because parking in downtown is extremely competitive we had to park in a hidden lot in between some abandoned buildings. Taking the risk of getting a citation we decided it was more important to strap on the blades and not waste anymore day light.
For the last few months now I’ve been pleasuring myself – or should I say Kaltik’s new flat frame has been pleasuring me? Either way it doesn’t quite sound right! The truth is I’ve been skating this revolutionary frame and they’re surprisingly amazing! Amazing I tell you!
