Roving Be-mag correspondent and blade photographer Megan Petersen attended this year's AIL Championships at the skate paradise otherwise known as Woodward West in Tehachapi, California and came back to us with this short recap report.
Brian Moore is about to release his new DVD 'The City Never Sleeps'. After more than two years of filming for the video and a $10,000 investment Brian has finally come to an end! Watching the teasers and considering the positive feedback the film got after its premiere at the Hoedown Contest in Dallas you can be sure that this release will get your ass up from the sofa and strap on your skates. Although Brian said that he did this video mostly for himself, we think that this video is made for everyone. But decide for yourself: an in depth interview, two trailers and Brady Johnston's section from the video should provide a good basis for your decision on whether or not to get the flick! All of this after the jump…
14th Annual Hoedown - my first one ever, ready to experience the madness first hand. I actually wasn't ready. You don't know what the hoedown is till you see it live. The place was packed and as loud as you can possibly (not) imagine.
Franco Shade grew consistently as a legit streetwear label with a big following for several years until, with a cryptic post on their website back in September 2009, Franco was no more. While the messageboards have been churning out their typical drama, Navran has been relatively quiet on the whole thing. We asked Joe for the scoop, now 6 months after-the-fact, and he was gracious enough to do this recent phone interview with us...
The results are in from the RFCC Awards and once again Chris Haffey takes the win. Can he be stopped?

I remember when we used to get 60 rollerbladers and 20 skateboarders, now the numbers are reversed. Skateboard registrations keep flooding in to Eisenbergs Summer Camp, while the inline enrollments barely trickle along. Last week we had 12 inline campers and two inline pro instructors.
Drink it in San Diego, another beautiful day in Sunny California The RFCC couldn't have picked a better park in a warmer place. Sunny Beaches, Hot Blonde babes as far as the eye could see and my eye only had to venture as far as my passenger seat to my HOT Fiancée/ Super Model ..

I have no idea when this was first released or which project it was part of – probably taken from TV. I only know it’s a throwback of epic proportions. Watch Arlo making ways and Rawlinson getting stitched up. Med Abrous, Brian Smith, Tom Fry and Ryan Jacklone. Do I need to say more? Footage from ca. 1996.

During the "sick trick contest" at the ASA Pro tour event in Milwaukee, Jaren Grob had a pretty bad fall by trying to transfer - over a 15 foot gap - from the Vert-Ramp to a rail at the judges tower.
