Berlin resident and Valo rider Jojo Jacobi is one of the hardest working men in blading. Our recently appointed Editor-in-Chief of Be-Mag rolling magazine also founded the premium content Blading.info, works with Hedon Skate and created the biggest blading event worldwide — the Winterclash. As if he didn’t have enough on his plate, plans are well underway for the upcoming Summerclash blading festival you’re not gonna want to miss, this coming June. We recently caught up with Jojo for a chat about his plans for the event.
In December 2012 the annual Strive Apart was held again in Leipzig, Germany. The well-run local indoor skatepark called "Heizhaus" turned out to be a good host again on this very Tuesday evening. Rollerbladers mainly from eastern Germany gathered in Leipzig to have a nice get-together and a fine skate session with a little bit of competition elements to it.
Pittsburgh artist Jeremy Beightol has had a pretty heavy influence on the blading industry over the past decade or more. You've seen his work in collaboration with companies like 4x4, Intuition Skate Shop, Ground Control, Psyko Clothing, his own brainchild Kaspa and now Be-mag.
Ivan Narez has been a busy man lately. Filming, editing and constructing the deluxe STYDII series along with the upcoming Valo V video is a daunting task but he's up to it not only behind the camera but also in front of it. Take a quick peek at what we have in store for the latest print issue.
This bowl is turning out pretty popular! Do you have any other spots like this – hard to find secrets, impossible to skate monsters or just epic or unreal skateparks like the one shown here?
Be-Mag reached 30K fans on Facebook today. Thanks for everyone that supported us over the last 15 years! Head over to our Facebook page to find out more about our plans to celebrate both 15 years in the game and 30K Facebook fans!
Having a print publication to show off the sport to outsiders is as important to Blading as a page on the internet where everyone can get their daily dose of Rolling. Many people are contributing to Be-Mag each month to keep the project alive and make it the longest running source for Blading content in print and on the net. With the core team of Be-Mag doing it for the love – and all contributors also working for free – there are still costs that occur. Paying for the servers, programming costs, countless other things that result in a huge sum each month. Needless to say it costs a small fortune to print a large number of magazines and distribute it all over the globe.

The Bladermods Crüe, which consists of Zebastian Cassel, Stephanie Midhammar, Julius Norrbom, Robin Bennett, and Christofer Kohn, went to the Hangaren Hot Sport Centre in Linköping, Sweden. At this sweet skatepark the guys (and girls) go all out, lacing sick tricks and bailing like bosses, but most importantly, having a blast with friends. Filmed in February and March this year and edited by Zebastian Cassel, this video gives you a great impression of how the guys of the Bladermods Crüe live their life with passion for blading. Enjoy!

Over the past couple of years, the Tri-State Area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) has lost too many indoor skate parks to count. From Hackettstown in New Jersey to the infamous Academy Skate Park in Connecticut; we have lost too many indoor parks due to lack of funding and support. We have endorsed endless hours of blading and hard earned cash to spend late sunday nights lacing tricks. Kids grow up in these parks and inevitably they have to watch the place they were raised in get torn down to the ground.
