After suffering the assaults of unfavorable weather on the first 2 stops of the tour, we were hoping to find some good weather down south. It's June 20 and we spent the day on the road again. Torrential rain and weariness does not facilitate the task of our driver, Yannick. He must guide our small group safely to Annecy...
Once again under gray skies we left the English capital towards Dover in order to board the ferry which would take us back to the mainland. The ride was rather good; we played games and we talked about everything and nothing, laughing all the way. After crossing 5 countries and spending approximately 10 hours on the water and the road, we arrived in Germany. Cologne was the second stop of this tour, a destination that also included only one day of skating so we had to be productive.
It's about 6am in the morning, I am with Nicolas Auroux and Mathieu Heinemann in this train bringing us to the meeting spot of the 3rd edition of the famous Nomades Tour. We are the first to arrive, quickly followed by Warren Digne and Robert Guerrero. Finally Mathias Silhan and Stefan Horngacher are here after a hard night partying...It's a rainy first day on our way to Calais, taking a ferry-boat to Britain's south coast.

In the final week before Sven Boekhorst's City Hopper premiere's in Amsterdam, we will post several old school clips from Sven's achievements during his impressive career. The first two are at the 2000 YOZ Games in Munchen, Germany. Sven took 1st place in park and 6th place in the bowl competition. The third clip is his halfpipe run at the 1999 X-Game Triples where Sven took the gold medal. Tune back in tomorrow for more old school Sven Boekhorst videos!

Biggest skatepark in Singapore featuring a medium height bowl with spine, a big bowl, street courses and a huge number of curbs. The entrance is free and the park is open until 10PM.
This concrete skatepark filled with wooden ramps and boxes was established in 2002 and is 1100 square-metres big. The Hangaren Hot Sport Center hosted the famous USD events back in the day and is still a very well visited skatepark. Every three years the park gets a sweet overhaul.
