One of the biggest and sickest skate contests located under a Brooklyn bridge is over and out. Alex Broskow is the man of the weekend taking home 5.000$ and the highly coveted title of the first NYC Street invite champion. After a week of non-stop rain in New York City, we finally had a day in the sun to shred. Foley square would be the meet up location for the “End of the World” session with the Valo Team. Bladers came from all boroughs in NYC for a chance to hang out and skate with some of their favorite pros. Present were Jon Julio, Erik Bailey, Franco Cammayo, Alex Broskow, Ivan Narez, Brandon Smith and Victor Arias. The session began on the steps of the Supreme Court Building, where people seemed to be getting worked coming off the court house gap.

The Valo Team did pretty well at this year's Chaz Sands competition: Chihiro Azuma (Japan) won the girls competition, Elliot Stevens (England) took the third place at the Amateur competition and Soichiro Kanashima placed third at the Pro competition. Valo apparently didn't sleep last night since they worked on this nice contest feature showing some exclusive Valo footage from the comp. Enjoy!

The Valo team squad spent two more days shredding, partying and sightseeing in Lisbon before they went off to Madrid and then to Barcelona. While Soichiro had to leave them because of Asian X Games, Cossimo Tassone from Switzerland and Justin Hertel from the US joined the Valo travel crew in Barcelona. Now it's hammer shred time in the streets of Barcelona.
