Hi, my name is Erik Burrow and I am a 23 year old Canadian roller from Toronto. The following photographs are a documentation of an amazing year in skating. I have been extremely busy juggling college life, my girlfriend, and a job at Shop-Task. Somewhere in the mix I've found a way to make it all work.
Stephane and I have been friends for 14 years. I know him as much as I know myself. We have been through so much together, kind of like two soldiers that fought side by side, you know? Steph is an extraordinary human being, he is always there for you if you need help or something. I have seen him going through many faces in his life. He is working hard on becoming a better person and seeing that is such an inspiration for me and all the peeps around him. Skating wise...? Well, I will let the edit speak for itself. All I can say is that skating with him is a true blessing in my life. Thanks Stephane for being a brother to me. I’ll see you tonight anyway at the TAZ session!
For many of us in Toronto, the summer of 2007 was full of long night sessions followed by drinks on patios. We had an amazing time that summer - lots of people were motivated to film for the HeyDude 3 Toronto section.
The third annual Brampton skate competition took place on Sunday the 14th of June. Endorsed by the City of Brampton and sponsored by www.Shop-Task.com and www.Blädr.com skate shops, the event has been building steam steadily since its first year and this year was no exception.

Another amazing season wrapped up. Check out the skating of Daniel Lefebre, Stephane Julien and many more.
It's that time of year, when you get off work and it's already dark. So, a couple of friends from Roll Toronto went to the Mississauga skatepark, the only nicely lit park in Toronto. As they got there, it turned out to be pretty crowded. Together with all the other skaters it turned out to be an awesome night!
Filmed troughout the summer at several skateparks in and around Toronto. The clips were lost on a harddrive, found again and made into this edit by RollToronto. Riders: Dave Ghent, Aj Delong, Leon Basin, Stephane Julien, Aaron Wheat, Darren Potts, and Guy Crawford.
Mishi from Germany came to visit some of the guys from RollToronto. They put together a fun edit that showcases some of the great concrete skateparks in Ontario.

Dave Ghent and Taylor Ritchie took a bike ride out to the Ashbridges Bay skatepark. Dave and Taylor know how to treat the long curbs in the skatepark.
Our good friends from RollToronto always have great ideas. They recently built a huge and transportable box for the Brampton Comp. Now they organized a Box-Session at Iceland Skatepark in Mississauga (30km out of Toronto). A lot of people came out to session this box - even the cops showed up! Check it out.
We love what RollToronto.ca is doing. They are not online uniting the Toronto Rollerbladers, they are also reactivating some Toronto legends including Mike Lukewich and Brandon Kaplan! After watching this edit, there is still one question popping up: "If this is left-over footage, so how does the real footage look like?"
The guys from RollToronto just redesigned their website and are also now in possession of a brand new HD camera. Be sure that they will hook us up with some more kicking ass canadian content throughout the whole summer. Good jobs. This edit also ...
Bramptom Comp 4 is a Canadian event that allows bladers to compete against one another for prizes, fame and glory. This year Brampton Comp has been enrolled in the World Rolling Series as a level 1 event, and the top 10 riders in Pro will receive WRS points
If you ever come to Ontario (Canada) you should visit the province's biggest skatepark. On any day in the summer you can be sure to meet a rollerblader there. This park delivers the full dose of skating possibilities: many different rails and curbs, gaps and a huge bowl! Just a fun place. Check out the edits below and you will see what's possible in the park.
