I know Dick "mister shine" Heerkens for a couple of years now. He’s the friendliest dude I know in the Dutch scene. Dick is very clever and entrepreneurial, but most of all, he's a fun guy to hang out with. If we are on skates, travel, fire up the BBQ or play some soccer, he'll always be on point! When he is on skates you can see him enjoying the session, and most of the time this positive energy spreads to other skaters around him. He loves to play around but is down for some hammers as well. He does this with style and a huge trick vocabulary. If you ever have the chance to shred with him, put on your blades and do so. For now just sit back and enjoy these clips.
So Cavin 035 made a DVD. A skate DVD. And it’s a banger! This guy filmed on two different continents and even went to an island where people drive on the wrong side of the road and don’t get where the steering wheel should be in a car. And yes, I am talking about the country England. The country that once thought they could conquer the Dutch on water. And we all know that only "ze Germans" can conquer the Dutch. And the only arena they can do that is on land. Am I Herman Cain right now or what? Anyway, Cavin catched them all!

'The Breakfast Club' is the newest video project out of the Netherlands, aka Holland, or for some people just Amsterdam! That is precisely where the maker of this project is from. We are speaking of Cavin Brinkmann, supported by his sidekick, the no less infamous dog Bobby! Cavin is the dude that you see dancing in those crazy Dutch edits. Do not get the wrong idea though, Cavin is a guy that puts all his energy into what he does. Living in Amsterdam has not made him a drug addict that would abandon skating for a high – skating and filming skating is his high!
The idea for the Breakfast Club Tour was to rock Belgium and France in a van fully loaded with nine skaters. We ended up leaving Amsterdam with only the four of us in a VW Con-fucking-vertible off to Belgium. Arne Elgersma, Bojd Vredevoogd, Marnix Haak and Robbert Snijder. Our tour planner Bojd spent the last few weeks looking for the finest, most ghetto abandoned places to get some unique footage for the DVD. The first weekend we ended up skating an old pool, a theme-park and spent the night in a creepy half demolished hotel called 'Kosmos'. Exploring these places at midnight was a great adventure by itself.

Pascal Tan is one of the up and coming skaters from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, who is quickly building a name for himself with his clean style, fun personality, and professional attitude towards skating. He is on the Razors Flow team as well as on the Thisissoul Team, and can be found skating weekly in Amsterdam or other cities in the Netherlands. Footage for this remix edit was mainly shot in Amsterdam and Barcelona, almost all in 2011.
The Breakfast Club and Timmy unfortunately parted ways but the footage they got was way to gnarly not to show to the people. Bitch your breakfast and enjoy your lunch.
Guillaume came to the Netherlands to skate with his Dutch friends for a couple of days. Cavin Brinkman joined him to capture some footage for his DVD "The Breakfast Club" and some for this exclusive edit of Guillaume. Some serious swag right here!

Great edit featuring one of Europe's most vibrant skatescenes in the last decade. Great to see so many oldschool skaters from back in the day and so many youngsters skating at that level. Check it out!
As most of you might have noticed the Dutch soccer team advanced to the FIFA World Cup Final. If there is a World Cup in Rollerblading we are sure Edwin would make it to the final as well. This edit is just another testimony for this.
