Brian Moore is about to release his new DVD 'The City Never Sleeps'. After more than two years of filming for the video and a $10,000 investment Brian has finally come to an end! Watching the teasers and considering the positive feedback the film got after its premiere at the Hoedown Contest in Dallas you can be sure that this release will get your ass up from the sofa and strap on your skates. Although Brian said that he did this video mostly for himself, we think that this video is made for everyone. But decide for yourself: an in depth interview, two trailers and Brady Johnston's section from the video should provide a good basis for your decision on whether or not to get the flick! All of this after the jump…
'Take Your Time' has come a long way from its first iteration. I first got the idea with Jonathan Labez in late December 2010. We formed a video around the BDC, an inside joke involving a handful of us as part of a 'crew'. Our good friend, Anthony Gallegos, was moving up north the next month to go to university, so we wanted to make a friends video before he left to remember us by. Our goal was to finish his section before he left, and continue filming for a few months. Things snowballed from there!
Two weeks ago, the Chosen Few 2011 Final took place in Los Angeles, California. Ian McLeod won the comp and Tyler Hester got crowned 2011 Chosen Few Champion. Check this photo-set by Jeremy Condamine and get a feel what went down at the event!
So the ACF Finals this year were about as crazy as it can get. This may be starting to get repetitive but I will say it again because I really do mean it. Chosen Few's main goal is to expose new talents around the world, challenge skaters to push themselves to their full potential and to put on amazing events for all to enjoy! The Chosen Few Finals are now being known as one of the most difficult competitions around. We're not going to lie about that either. Our finals will always be an intense and challenging competition. You may get one easy spot at the beginning but that's about it. No matter what the last obstacle is, it will not be easy. It might be a huge down rail or it might be something random but we will guarantee that it will always have the competitors pushing themselves and skating their hardest.
It's easy to find good skaters, it's hard to find great skaters and it's nearly impossible to find great skaters that are determined enough to do A Chosen Few section or profile. These skaters who you will see updates from over the next weeks are all the skaters doing sections or profiles for ACHOSEN-FEW.COM. Each skater was very carefully chosen to do one of these sections or profiles. No skaters section or profile will be released until it has reached the Chosen Few Standard which is set dangerously high. I want every skater who has a Chosen Few section or profile to do something big for their skate career. I also want them to remember this section above all others and make sure that they know if they can conquer a Chosen Few section or profile they can conquer anything. - Quinn Feldman
