The Be-Mag production 'Traitement' by Jonas Hansson has been nominated for the Adventure Film Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark. The film will be competing with other adventure features like 'The Art of Flight', the most expensive Snowboard film ever produced, as well as the highly praised Mountain Biking piece 'LifeCycles', which also pushed production value for extreme sport flicks to new heights.
We had a good hour of session, and the sign-ins of skaters in the competition was finally over. The new spot at the SEB buildings was just as we expected it to be: great for rollerblading. The surface made of smooth concrete turning and tossing like a river down a lazy sloped hill, with the occasional curb to skate and a big two meter gap in the ending made it a rollerblading fantasy.
These last years of portraying rollerblading has been a great gift of friends, adventures and learning. When you've been given such privileges as I had for this film, you want to give your very best. And I thank everyone involved for making this happen.
