Hi, my name is Erik Burrow and I am a 23 year old Canadian roller from Toronto. The following photographs are a documentation of an amazing year in skating. I have been extremely busy juggling college life, my girlfriend, and a job at Shop-Task. Somewhere in the mix I've found a way to make it all work.
Stephane and I have been friends for 14 years. I know him as much as I know myself. We have been through so much together, kind of like two soldiers that fought side by side, you know? Steph is an extraordinary human being, he is always there for you if you need help or something. I have seen him going through many faces in his life. He is working hard on becoming a better person and seeing that is such an inspiration for me and all the peeps around him. Skating wise...? Well, I will let the edit speak for itself. All I can say is that skating with him is a true blessing in my life. Thanks Stephane for being a brother to me. I’ll see you tonight anyway at the TAZ session!
Mike David has always been raw talent. His skating has always been on the next level, and his presence is always positive. The first time I met Mike was back in the TSB days in Toronto, when he tried a massive disaster soul. I thought he was just some crazy guy trying to make a name for himself, but after a while I realized that this guy throws down every time he skates. Pure hammers, and best attitude around. Everyone knows how humble he is, and no one questions his skill. Presenting Mike D everyone.
This year the Bramptom comp went into its fourth round. It looks like it was an amazing turn out. They even got Remz' finest Nick Wood to serve sausages all day from the barbecue at the competition. Check out what else went down on May 16th at Brampton Comp 4.
For many of us in Toronto, the summer of 2007 was full of long night sessions followed by drinks on patios. We had an amazing time that summer - lots of people were motivated to film for the HeyDude 3 Toronto section.
The third annual Brampton skate competition took place on Sunday the 14th of June. Endorsed by the City of Brampton and sponsored by www.Shop-Task.com and www.Blädr.com skate shops, the event has been building steam steadily since its first year and this year was no exception.
I always enjoy seeing rollerbladers come together, and what could be sweeter than having a whole skatepark to ourselves. Brampton Comp 2 was held at the recently completed Brampton Skatepark near Toronto Canada...
Another amazing season wrapped up. Check out the skating of Daniel Lefebre, Stephane Julien and many more.
It's that time of year, when you get off work and it's already dark. So, a couple of friends from Roll Toronto went to the Mississauga skatepark, the only nicely lit park in Toronto. As they got there, it turned out to be pretty crowded. Together with all the other skaters it turned out to be an awesome night!
Filmed troughout the summer at several skateparks in and around Toronto. The clips were lost on a harddrive, found again and made into this edit by RollToronto. Riders: Dave Ghent, Aj Delong, Leon Basin, Stephane Julien, Aaron Wheat, Darren Potts, and Guy Crawford.

If you ever come to Ontario (Canada) you should visit the province's biggest skatepark. On any day in the summer you can be sure to meet a rollerblader there. This park delivers the full dose of skating possibilities: many different rails and curbs, gaps and a huge bowl! Just a fun place. Check out the edits below and you will see what's possible in the park.
