What started out as an option for a cheap and efficient form of transportation for the inmates of the infamous Powerhouse in Barcelona, has quickly evolved into a stand-alone branch of Aggressive Skating. Now, a year later you may have noticed these unorthodox looking frames and wheels on display at just about all major shops and retailers. Unorthodox maybe, but only to the eyes of the unengaged. Check out this article and get the low down on the latest trend in blading, or inevitably be passed over by your mates that keep up with the times. And, you better believe they'll be moving fast.
»The whole crew had independently decided on a skate through the sunshine city just for the enjoyment of skating, despite only having slept a few short hours. Rollerskating along the seafront is what my life has become and I love it. Let me just turn my cap back to front and adjust the Ghetto Blaster on my shoulder.«
»One wonders how much gasoline the Kamikaze planes were filled with at the beginning of a mission, and also how expensive the planes were? I wonder if you were looking for a cheap plane to impress a girl, surely you could always get a great deal on a Kamikaze plane?«
»Everyone knows aggressive rollerbladers are gangsters. Why would they be called aggressive rollerbladers if they weren’t? Even criminals and dangerous felons aren’t preceeded with the word aggressive. Aggressive Dangerous Felon sounds stupid.«
»The next thing I know it's way past midnight and the whole crew is hill bombing drinks deep into the night. I have only been in Barcelona 4 hours and here I am again, straining my eyes against the dark to spot impending doom in the form of cracks, branches or holes.«
While the northern hemisphere is covered in snow these days and street skating mecca California is set afloat by an everlasting monsoon rain, there is this city in the eastern part of Spain that still has some proper street skating going on. We're not sure if it's the mild central European climate that motivates these guys to put out amazing content or if the stuff that they are doing heats up the city. Either way: here's the next chapter of „Enter The Powerhouse“ on Be-Mag. And this time, it has an additional video. If you have no idea what this video is about, you better not waste any more time and click on „MORE“ right away.
The Conference recently installed a flat in Spain for their pro- and amateur-riders to visit. The idea behind this is to produce footage for edits and magazine coverage in the streets of Barca thus promoting the companies' brands. All this while having a good time in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, of course. From now on, Be-Mag will give you an exclusive insight - once a week - into one of the most famous houses in the rolling world. Mark your calendars: Tuesday is now the Powerhouse-day on Be-Mag.

Half way through the 7th grade, a new kid arrived at my school in a town of about 1300 people. For what ever reason I can't recall, I took it upon myself to sit near and strike up a conversation with him. One of the first things I remember him say...
I just received the newly released Xsjado JC Rowe 1.0's, and spent my last 2 days in Barcelona skating to test their performance. I could tell you what I think of them… But I’ll let you decide how well they work and look, by watching this quick edit of the short, yet enjoyable time I spent in them. -Dustin Werbeski
it's The Barcelona Sessions III, another window into our world. Just like the original Barcelona Sessions, or is it? If you are looking for more foot maneuvers and switch-ups, this game is not for you. -Richie Eisler
The footage that made it no further. If not for this, it would have simply disappeared in one of the black holes I call hard drives. Hope you dig the clips, which we never really did. -Dustin Werbeski

The style and quality of the blading speaks for itself, and having him around keeps everyone smiling – a great person and a great skater, we are proud to present Worapoj Boonnim “Note” of Thailand. Worapoj stayed in Barcelona at the Powerhouse and filmed this edit with Dustin Werbeski and Adrien Anne. Edited by Adrien Anne.
