It is hard to put into words how very much I enjoy Adam Johnson´s work. Not only does he know how to capture the aesthetics of rollerblading in a way that appeals to a vast majority of the rolling community, but in addition he seems to dedicate every breathing minute to rollerblading related projects, be it VX, Street Artist or whatnot. For the last few years Adam has been on the road constantly. The routine of buying a van and turning it into his mobile headquarter appears to have become a fixed segment of his life. After filming for On Top and Charging, both extremely well received projects, he still had the energy to put his all into yet another feat.
Adam Johnson takes high risks to deliver the best skating possible all the way to your living room. Selling all his belongings to fund a flick and living in a van for months on end to film for your new favorite videos are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the many sacrifices this guy makes. No wonder he gets pissed when someone steals his and his peers' hard work. Read more about his opinions on intellectual property and find out more about his latest brainchild 'The 20 Project' which will feature some of the most interesting skaters of the sport.
The Apple Juice is the mushroomed story of my personal involvement in rollerblading over the course of the past decade, complete with full color photographs; vignettes of the artwork that is rollerblading. It incorporates my adventures in New Jersey and New York City as a youth to my subsequent and various cross-country trips to many of America's great cities and hub locations for the rollerblading industry and culture, including a year spent in San Francisco working with Sean Cullen and Kevin Yee on the film, The Apple Rest in Peace San Francisco, which was of great inspiration.

Bladegeist number one features Danny Murder, Sean Sea, and Erik Stokley as well as the story of Bills journey on "The Bone Machine" where he drove a gutted 1985 Honda Helix bike from LA to SF. The following is an online video made from the unused/leftover footage from the first INRI crew video "Rebirth". Some of the other unused clips were used and then later taken out due to riders requests. We guess everyone wants to only put their best foot forward huh? That's understandable. Anyway this is the video portion of Bladegeist. The mag will be released on December 25, 2011. Enjoy.
Apparently dogs can get pro wheels...? The industry is at a crossroads... Check out the promo edit with skating of Jon Jon Bolino, Erik Stokley, Matty Schrock, Chris Dafick, Billy O'Neil and BJ Bernhardt!
Five more days to go for everyone out there to become a producer of 'The 20 Project', Adam Johnsons new blade flick. It also provides an answer to the ever so popular question of 'what video to show my friends that don't skate?'. Peep said video below and don't forget to become a backer!
So I made an edit to some Lil Wayne shit today for you to hate on. So hate a lil bit and complain to our secretary... -Adam Johnson
