As 2011 draws to close, we can look back fondly on a year full of incredible edits. Hammers have been laid and creative lines have been laced. So while you’re recovering from the festive celebrations, crack open another can and have a look back at this small reminder. Here are the ten most popular videos from 2011!
After a successful year with events in Bremen, Leipzig, Bonn, and Wuppertal, the finals of Grindhouse Miniramp Masters 2011 took place on the 17th of December in Cologne, Germany. In the second year of its creation, the series was host to over 100 competitors. Skaters from all over the country attended and made the final event one to remember.
'U3 Baumwall', which may sound weird in English, is actually a train station here in Hamburg, Germany. This is the station we usually got off for the filming of this video since it's right next to the "Hafen City", a new district of the city that is currently being built on ancient harbour ground. No building is older than five years and neither are the spots.
One of Europe's longest running contests, the infamous X-Mas Jam, is taking place in Hamburg Germany next weekend. We talked to organizer Jonn Rübcke to see what we can expect from this years event and also how he plans to take the whole thing even further this year. Two days, competitors from all over Europe and 3000 € in prize money. This is going to be big!
Eugen Enin... who is this guy? Two years ago, Eugen popped out of nowhere into the German scene all of a sudden, placed high at some of the main street competitions, showed his super-tech blading here and there in small web files and German DVDs, was rather quickly placed on USD's Flow Team and managed to impress virtually everyone who witnessed his abilities in person. His body and mind may be in the perfect condition to become one of Europe's finest street skaters. At a young age he already appears to be quite focused, mature, motivated and strong enough to take a beating and get right back up to finish the job. But enough the sweet talk, have a look at one of Germany's finest up & comers, Eugen Enin!
Arne Dahlmeier's name should be familiar to anyone that knows the ropes in the European scene. After he's left Razors a couple years ago things started to become rather quiet around him, even though he was, and still is, skating on an extremely high level. This year, after being hired out as a courtshow actor and hair model – lacking success in both ventures – he relocated from Bielefeld to Stuttgart. Shortly after his move and following a recent shoulder injury, which made surgery a necessity, he is now again fully functional and just paid his hometown a quick visit in order to film for this edit at one of his favorite spots. Welcome him back as he has fought what seems to have been an uphill battle of obstacles, taking it back to where it all began.
Every single year the Grindhouse team embarks upon a road tour. This year's tour took the German Grindhouse team to Europe's rolling mecca, Barcelona. There, the crew consisting of Sacha Lopez, Daniel Prell, Maik Lojewski, Timm Kittlitz, Alex Rudolf and Daniel Gourski destroyed every obstacle and party place in their path. You know the deal: When the Grindhouse is on tour, madness is the daily routine. Here you can peep the first part of the "Grindhouse Tour 2011 in Barcelona"-series featuring Sacha Lopez. Sacha injured his hands some days before the tour, but obviously this didn't hold him back.
On the 6th and 7th of August in the city of Hamburg it was time for the annual Summer Jam at the I-Punkt Skateland. As in most of Europe the weather this summer has not been the best but it held out for us to hold this contest. Over the weekend the park saw talent from Skateboarders, BMXers and Rollerbladers! Sunday was the day set aside for the Rollerblading contests. The day kicked off in traditional fashion with the Limbo contest, something fun for the kids and a good warm up for those looking to compete in the following grind box, bowl and best trick contests.
Infernal is in the rolling business since 10 years now and supports rolling since its beginning. Reason enough for us to give you a little insight behind the scenes with this interview with Infernal owner, Jonas Pöltl.
The Chosen Few Germany competition had a big turn out. We had right around 300+ people there and the competition was a success. Grindhouse was our premium sponsor for this competition. Thanks to them we had a pretty good cash prize for our top places. Chosen Few comps have a few twists that make the competition a little more difficult but also a little more rewarding.

Filmed in October 2011. We started to enjoy meeting up at Münsters best known spot again, the yellow rails in the parking lot. With a dry ground and light all night, it is only choice to save us from goin to crappy indoor parks again. However it's a good choice. One evening Patrick Smith and I decided to film a few lines for a quick edit. This is what came out. Hope you enjoy it. -Jo Zenk

Here we go again. The wait is over and the Winterclah 2011 is on its way. It took us a while to figure out if, or in which way, the Winterclash can stay alive, but in the end it was obvious that it had to happen somehow. "Back to Basics" is the key for 2011. We will keep it simple this time and are moving back into a skatepark.

This is a fast-sliding and very long ledge, located at a public elementary school.
Wooden ledges that don't need to be waxed at all. A stair with 3 steps, simply calling for skating in lines or with trick combinations.
Two Handrails that are about 5 meters long. The Spot is located right next to supermarket.
This spot contains about 30 meters of wooden benches.
This Spot has everything to offer, you can dream of. One about 0.80m high and 2.50m long marble fountain, that can be skated from both sides. Another ledge at this place is located right next to the fountain. It's about 20m long and about the height of your knees.
Three high marble Ledges, good run-up and landing
Red ledge (nowadays painted white) is located in the Lohfeld school district, good run-up and landing, no bust (but shouldn´t be skated during school-hours)
