Only 16 days until Summerclash... that’s only a little more than two weeks. The weather is finally getting better, the last sponsoring deals are getting finalized, our tradeshow partners confirmed and the street course is planned. We are almost ready to welcome our guests from around 30 different countries for that one special weekend in the summer of 2013! In case you haven’t been following the Summerclash website and Facebook, here’s a little recap!
The first time I met Konsti was on the way to ISPO Munich in 2010. Once a year we travel to this almost legendary exhibition to check out the latest products and meet some old friends again. Always when we visit Munich it is also time to meet Munich's Infernal team rider. 2010 Dario (Soller) was representing Infernal in Munich. When we met at our way to ISPO he told me that it was time for him to hand over his Infernal sponsorship to someone younger than him, to get in some fresh blood. As he wanted to keep an infernal representative in Munich he introduced Konsti to me, with the recommendation to keep an eye on him, as he was one of the rising talents from Munich. Konsti is a very nice guy, someone you like to hang out with and go for a session. He is not the type of guy looking for attention all the time. He is rolling for himself and the pure fun with an incredible smooth style. So we stayed in contact, he e-mailed me his clips and pictures and in the next summer Konsti was on the Infernal team, representing us in Munich. It's not the normal way how you get on the team, but Konsti is also not the normal skater. He’s a really cool guy with amazing skills, that's why he came to Infernal. But to keep it like Konsti, we will let his actions speak, so enjoy his clips, pics and interview.
The I-Punkt Skateland in Hamburg will once again host the infamous X-Mas Jam this year. In an effort to raise awareness for the event – and to get everyone juiced for December 15th – the Hamburg locals teamed up to get clips for a promo edit at their first "Bladers Only" session of the year. This is what they got.
Daniel Prell - what to say about him? Well, everybody knows his passion for droprails, best with a shitty runway and landing. But do you know Daniel without his skates on? Ok, that doesn’t happen that often as he shreds his local rails in nearly every weather condition and with whatever injury he has.
We’re excited to announce that the latest issue of Be-mag has been written, edited, re-designed and sent to the printers just in time to hit your local skate shop in the coming weeks.
In the summer of 2011 my mates from Grindhouse told me they wanted to do a tour again, and of course I wanted to be part of it. It's very special to meet up with the team and hang out for more than a week, as you always learn a lot about yourself and about the others on tour with you.
Be-Mag has teamed up with Grindhouse and Rollerblade to bring you yet another skate raffle. This time we're hooking up one lucky Be-magger with a complete RB Sven Boekorst 2012 blade that are equipped with new Blank Frames, new harder/faster soul plates and 60mm/88a wheels. If you're an avid Rollerblade skater or just want to give them a try out of curiosity it's worth your while to enter this contest. And who doesn't love free blades? Why would you even want a blade from Sven? In the immortal words of legend Ryan Jacklone, "What's that kids name? Sven? He's ill. He tried to do some super ill spin to some super ill topside trick. My "leg doesn't go this way" trick." If you want to do that trick, listen to the Riggler and enter this contest.
First of all, it has been like a year since our a great tour. At first, it was uncertain if we’d even be able to go or not. But, we lucked out and everything came together to make tour and the Try to Roll Contest happen in 2011 for us. Kicking it off, we headed straight to BCN.
When I first heard my teammate Maik was planning a tour, I couldn't wait for it. Especially when he told me how he'd already booked tickets to Barcelona. Only a few weeks before, me and my good friend Eugen Enin had already paid a visit to the very same amazing City. What can I say? I fell in love with the place and was obviously well juiced to go back! Ever since I became a member of the Grindhouse team I've wanted to experience one of the legendary GH-tours! Being the lucky rascal that I am, I eventually ended up visiting Barcelona twice last year.
Having a print publication to show off the sport to outsiders is as important to Blading as a page on the internet where everyone can get their daily dose of Rolling. Many people are contributing to Be-Mag each month to keep the project alive and make it the longest running source for Blading content in print and on the net. With the core team of Be-Mag doing it for the love – and all contributors also working for free – there are still costs that occur. Paying for the servers, programming costs, countless other things that result in a huge sum each month. Needless to say it costs a small fortune to print a large number of magazines and distribute it all over the globe.

Lucas Landthaler isn't only passionate about rebuilding old Mercedes cars, he's also a very skilled blader. Check this edit by Wolfgang Appelt from the crew's one week long Barcelona vacation. Filmed by Wolfgang Appelt, Axel Betz, Harry Can and Yannik Uber.
