Just in time for Winterclash we bring you another prize raffle. This time in collaboration with our trusted partner Grindhouse. The company was founded in the mid 90's and besides carrying the finest Rolling goods around, they've also constantly developed their own line of GH branded product. Last year, they've teamed up with Undercover to bring you the high quality 'Grindhouse 15th Anniversary Wheels' to celebrate their jubilee and them being the longest running shop in Europe. This year, they've gone the UC way again and created the 'Grindhouse Snakers & Parkrats Wheels'. Three sets of said wheels are now up for grabs...
We're not sure if Daniel Prell has ever missed a Winterclash. Probably not. But we do know that 2012 won't be the year he starts slacking. Competing, filming, editing, drinking? All at the same time...? Daniel sure has a gift for multitasking. Or at least he's in need for it...
I've known Jason for a decade now and the first word that comes to mind when thinking about him is 'dedication'. And the second one is 'leader', no doubt. During the past years Jason used to skate no-fun-at-all-super-high-dead-drop-rails on a daily basis with a to-do list of tricks to improve his skills. This meant that he was skating alone most of the time because nobody in his city and just a few in Italy would be able to skate the same spots. Today, Jason has grown to the best all around blader that Italy has to offer and his attitude makes him a role model for the young and a great asset to the Italian scene. He is always the first to put his blades on and the last to put them off. His dedication is contagious.
After a successful year with events in Bremen, Leipzig, Bonn, and Wuppertal, the finals of Grindhouse Miniramp Masters 2011 took place on the 17th of December in Cologne, Germany. In the second year of its creation, the series was host to over 100 competitors. Skaters from all over the country attended and made the final event one to remember.

These photos are further effort of ours to make it easier for you to decide wether or not you should be attending this year's event which is going to take place this weekend. As if it even needed consideration... there is absolutely no reason not to go. Enjoy the photos!

For this years Grindhouse trip I had something different in mind as what we did in the past years. I didn’t want to tour through Europe, but spend a few days in the mecca of our sport and have a good time there without having the stress of driving the car from one city to another.
We are proud to announce the completion of Be-Mag Issue 38. The magazine will start shipping this week. We will be posting some more teasers throughout the week.
One of Europe's longest running contests, the infamous X-Mas Jam, is taking place in Hamburg Germany next weekend. We talked to organizer Jonn Rübcke to see what we can expect from this years event and also how he plans to take the whole thing even further this year. Two days, competitors from all over Europe and 3000 € in prize money. This is going to be big!
Having a print publication to show off the sport to outsiders is as important to Blading as a page on the internet where everyone can get their daily dose of Rolling. Many people are contributing to Be-Mag each month to keep the project alive and make it the longest running source for Blading content in print and on the net. With the core team of Be-Mag doing it for the love – and all contributors also working for free – there are still costs that occur. Paying for the servers, programming cost, countless other things that result in a huge sum each month. Needless to say it costs a small fortune to print a large number of magazines and distribute it all over the globe.
On January 21st 2012 the 18th RollTogether was held in Mühlhausen, Germany. Check out the edit covering this session which was attended by Germany's finest bladers. Hit play and enjoy!

Today we announce the winner of the SSM Marc Moreno Pro Skates sponsored by Grindhouse. Each participant had to come up with a good story why they should win the skates. It was a hard choice: The lucky owner of these brand new SSM babies is Florian Lebon from Boissy-le-Châtel, near Paris, in France. Congratulations, Florian! Florian can now push rollerblading in his scene and finally will get a girlfriend. For those who didn't win, no worries! It's just a matter of time before we have a new Prize Raffle on the site.

Grindhouse is about to introduce an new wheel for 2012 which again is poured by Undercover in the US. Their 2011 UC-poured wheels were pretty damn good so we expect these to be equally as well performing. To top it off the've made their "Snakers & Parkrats" wheel with red urethane. Pretty sick!
Adrien Anne recently visited the Forward Freestyle skatepark in Roeselare, Belgium. Check out "The Traveler" as he reps Grindhouse and kills it, as usual.
