Yuri Botelho grew up in Brazil and spent more than a decade in Bilbao, Spain. He recently made the move to Barcelona and couldn't be happier in his new hometown: 'There's just too many spots!'
I met Chaz for the first time during a contest in Rome back in 2002. I guess I’d only known him for like 24 hours, but after some drinks we were already making plans to drive my car all the way from Rome to Glasgow, to spend some extra time in Scotland. The next morning we cancelled this crazy idea because of everybody's hangovers. I also remember we were sitting together in the car that night with a Dutch friend of mine who needed skates. Chaz said: “No problem. I will call Salomon right now for a pair of skates” haha....So there he was at 3 o’clock in the morning calling the Salomon headquarters for a pair of skates. Ever since then we’ve been in contact, and I'm always trying to bring him over to my events here in Holland; the main goal is to have a great time and the secondary goal is to have some nice blading sessions. And I must say we are scoring every single time except this one time during my 30th birthday!I visited his house and local skatepark for a week a few years ago, which was a great experience. I hope I can make this trip again soon. Chaz is a great personality, a down to earth person with a big sense of humor and besides that he is still killing it on his blades. Like this video I saw lately of him learning fakie 1080...
It's the year 2009 and an intriguing trailer for Imagine Blade Shun goes online, promising to show more in 2010. It gets tons of praise online with skaters waiting to see the final production. Unfortunately, 2010 comes and goes (as does 2011 and 2012) with no sign of its release. What happened to the project? When was it coming out? Be-mag was able to pin down Dustin Werbeski back home in Canada after his European adventures with the Powerhouse and find out the background story on its 2013 release.
After finishing second last year Nils Jansons stepped it up another notch at the 2013 Winterclash. The 20 year old Latvian amazed everyone in Eindhoven with some serious hammers including a jawdropping 540 alley-oop top soul. We checked in with the brand new champ for a quick interview.
The first time I met Konsti was on the way to ISPO Munich in 2010. Once a year we travel to this almost legendary exhibition to check out the latest products and meet some old friends again. Always when we visit Munich it is also time to meet Munich's Infernal team rider. 2010 Dario (Soller) was representing Infernal in Munich. When we met at our way to ISPO he told me that it was time for him to hand over his Infernal sponsorship to someone younger than him, to get in some fresh blood. As he wanted to keep an infernal representative in Munich he introduced Konsti to me, with the recommendation to keep an eye on him, as he was one of the rising talents from Munich. Konsti is a very nice guy, someone you like to hang out with and go for a session. He is not the type of guy looking for attention all the time. He is rolling for himself and the pure fun with an incredible smooth style. So we stayed in contact, he e-mailed me his clips and pictures and in the next summer Konsti was on the Infernal team, representing us in Munich. It's not the normal way how you get on the team, but Konsti is also not the normal skater. He’s a really cool guy with amazing skills, that's why he came to Infernal. But to keep it like Konsti, we will let his actions speak, so enjoy his clips, pics and interview.

If you've heard of Nils Jansons then you know this guy is a shredder! Simply speaking. Big tricks, lots of speed and of course, plenty of hammers. But I want to tell you a bit about Nils that you may not know. Nils is "on it". And by saying that, I mean he has found his passions and will stop at nothing to achieve or take whatever he wants from this life. He may be young, numerically speaking, but he has the patient and calm demeanor of a buddist monk. Nils is super humble and down to earth. Still what some might call a bit "out there". He is the kind of homie that you can really sit down and kick it with and ponder about life, girls, politics, blading or whatever the topic may be.
