Held on May 29th was the first street comp held in Florida in a while – the O-Town Throwdown. People gathered from all over the state, Georgia, and even Tennessee for a chance at the $300 first prize. This is the official 2011 O-Town Throwdown edit!
Orlando, most of the time, marks the meeting point for all of us bladers here in the Sunshine State. Also, one of the main reasons we decided to hold the first of many strings of street competitions here in Florida. Meet up spot was Barnett Skatepark. A small park with a perfect mini and an across and down rail to warm up at. Waited there for about an hour for people to show up until we headed out to the first spot. Before we headed out I made sure everyone had directions and also got with the judges to make sure we were on the same page. Lending their knowledge about the sport and tallying points was Shima Pro Rider, Joey Chase; Razors Flow Rider, Sammy Chase; Be-Mag Drama Queen, Rob Squire; and local skate veteran, Nate Ent.
David Johns from Orlando is on his way to the Panhandle PowWow 2011 which is taking place at Kona Skatepark in Jacksonville (FL) this upcoming weekend (April 29th-30th 2011). In tow he has Damien Wilson, Michael 'Gumby' Braud, Andrew Jaccuzi and Keaton Newson. As you can see below the crew detected some decent spots on their trip and left their marks on each one. Check out the first picture Gallery here. More pics are about to follow.

I mean if you think about all I really did was state the obvious. It is the middle of January, of course it is „Too Cold To Blade Outside“.

Seems like everyone and his cousin talks about starting a clothing company these days, but when a project pops up involving the likes of Joey Chase, Matty Schrock, and Michael "Gumby" Braud, people take notice...
Saturday morning we woke up surprisingly early. Gumby awoke after only 3 hours of sleep to go make amends for his drunken evil doings the night before. After Gumby had cleansed his soul it was still only 10:00am. We got everyone...
