It was a beautiful hot sunny day August 6th in Santa Ana California where the 2011 Blader Cup all went down. Pro skaters and dedicated participants flocked from all around to condone in such a glorious event located on the historic 4th st. business marketplace in southern Orange County. The skater's busted their asses off all day for the top prize of $3000, but in the end only one pulled through and took the grand prize (Brian Aragon).

This year we crowned a world champion of rollerblading, but to me that was not the peek of the excitement that day. The comp had a great turn out and I know from the cheers and yelling, everyone enjoyed what they saw.

After winning the NL5 Contest in Straßbourg Aragon holds its ground in China taking 1st place in the Street category while Jeff Stockwell placed second. On the other hand, in the Halfpipe competition Takeshi Yasutoko (Japan) takes first place while Marco Di Santi (Brazil) came in second.
