After many passed deadlines, years of testing, research and design development the Xsjado 2.0 have finally arrived in your local skate shops. What took so long? What were the major changes? Will they make you skate as well as Stockwell and Farmer? Be-mag spoke with the Xsjado Pro team directly to find out a little bit more.
Using the empty space between my second and third wheel, I plant the groove on the edge of the step, and in one kick I'm out the driveway. Gliding on 223rd street, passing the students going to school, I give the bike lane a new name, the blade lane. I arrive at Chuck's house and we're on our way to the Wednesday morning blade ritual with genuine people that I am honored to still be blading with.
Be-mag Print Issue #39 should be hitting news stands and skate shops right now, so for those who haven't had a chance to order your copy or pick it up, here's another sneak preview for you to check out.

When your with a group of guys as diverse as the ones I had the pleasure of spending the week with, it’s not just the stories you create that stick with you, but the one’s you hear as well. The 2012 Asian X Games showcase everything that is right in the world of Rollerblading, entwined with fake Scotch and a podium payout that park skating hasn’t seen in a while.
When Daniel Kinney threw the first ever Bittercold Show Down in 2001 the event was just a one-day event with 150 competitors, had no extra stage for spectators, no additional ramp set-ups - the event didn't even have an own website.
Our contributor Vincent Morretino sent us some snaps from his Bitter Cold Showdown 2012 experience. Vincent covered some of the skating and also gives you a glimpse on what being at BCSD felt like this year. Thanks, Vincent!

A few days before the wedding, the crew cruised through central Oregon and explored some of the parks they missed on the other Shred strips. After a few days on the road of the usual Shred shenanigans – blading, beers, and buds – they arrived in Portland just in time to help a fellow amigo, Ross Kuhn, tie the knot. -Brian Krans
