After my friends and colleagues from Hedonskate arrived late Friday evening we woke up to beautiful sunshine on a Saturday morning with a great weekend waiting for us. Instead of explaining step by step what went down during the weekend, I decided to ask Dominik Wagner, Jojo Jacobi, Bart Laubsch and Basza Takemura to write about some of their personal experiences from the event that was a beautiful weekend full of blading, good weather and friends!
Welcome to the island of Falster! The island that hosts this years Danish Championships in Aggressive Inline, the competition that bears the honorable name of "Pony Cup". The competition this year was the pinnacle of three years of really good Pony Cups. The Pony has grown from a competition next to a horse stable, to a proper Danish championship involving a lot of sponsors and a lot of international rollerbladers attending.

It was a pretty controversial step to start a promotion of a rollerblading movie project with a trailer without any skating shown. Instead, the trailer shows five dudes waking along an avenue. The first "Here We Are" trailer drew different reactions from the audience, dividing the rollerblading community into either lovers or haters. Nothing can stop the Scandinavians from lacing some real bangers. Even the worst weather condition and some pretty though handrails. In the end an unbeatable Jacob Juul took the senior comp and can now call himself the Scandinavian Real Street Contest champion 2011. Congrats.

On the 18th of September the Revelation Cup takes place in the Skatelounge Giessen, Germany. The contest crew is coming up with a lot of specials which will give you an amazing time.
Here we go again. The wait is over and the Winterclah 2011 is on its way. It took us a while to figure out if, or in which way, the Winterclash can stay alive, but in the end it was obvious that it had to happen somehow. "Back to Basics" is the key for 2011. We will keep it simple this time and are moving back into a skatepark.
Next weekend from Friday 9th March until Sunday 11th March the annual Ponycup in Nykøbing, Denmark is going down. Be sure to participate or, if you dont't feel like it, watch some of the worlds best pro's lacing their tricks in the Kulturfabrikken Skatepark.
