After my friends and colleagues from Hedonskate arrived late Friday evening we woke up to beautiful sunshine on a Saturday morning with a great weekend waiting for us. Instead of explaining step by step what went down during the weekend, I decided to ask Dominik Wagner, Jojo Jacobi, Bart Laubsch and Basza Takemura to write about some of their personal experiences from the event that was a beautiful weekend full of blading, good weather and friends!
Welcome to the island of Falster! The island that hosts this years Danish Championships in Aggressive Inline, the competition that bears the honorable name of "Pony Cup". The competition this year was the pinnacle of three years of really good Pony Cups. The Pony has grown from a competition next to a horse stable, to a proper Danish championship involving a lot of sponsors and a lot of international rollerbladers attending.
As 2011 draws to close, we can look back fondly on a year full of incredible edits. Hammers have been laid and creative lines have been laced. Hey we are here at the winterclash the comp is just about to start!
First held in 1996, the X-Mas Jam has been going strong for many years now. Known for righteous skating and good atmosphere, this event is here to stay for another 15 years. Easily. Check out a bunch of photographs from the competition as well as quotes of people that attended the '10-edition of the Jam to find out more about the vibe of an event that has skaters coming from the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland as well as France every year to celebrate Rollerblading at the I-Punkt Skateland in Hamburg.
Be-Mag sent some of their core staff members to one of the biggest European Extreme Sport Events, the FISE, taking place in the centre of Montpellier (France). Be sure that we will once again try our best to cover the very best from this huge and action-packed event. So those of you who couldn't make it to the real event, come back here and be still part of something great. Within the next few days you will be able to experience the event through the eyes of Jojo Jacobi, Dominic Swagemakers and some more helpers. They will be on the FISE skate-course, on the FISE-parties, on the beach and close to all the big skate teams coming from all around the world. Let's get the party started.
The Baltic Games are an Extreme Sports Festival in Poland Gdansk, which is a nice city next to the Sea. Next to Rollerblading you can find Skateboarding, BMX, FMX and also some more attractions.
After visiting the first Never Winterjam in 2008 I had to make sure to be back this year. The unique atmosphere at Polish competitions is worth the travel. Even if it’s a 14 hour journey back home.
Today was "action day" and the competition went down. We will prepare a big article with more pictures and a full report for the beginning of next week. For now we just got a little preview and the results of the senior comp.

Six guys from Belgium embarked on a trip towards Berlin (Germany) to join the World's biggest Rollerblading event, the Winterclash. Of course they travelled with a trailer, a lot of beer and some pleasant anticipation! Three months later they come up with this edit featuring their trip and an extensive recap of the competition. On the 24th of April 2010, the first Rollerblading contest went down at Austria's finest Indoor-Skatepark, the Lissfeld-Skatehall, in Linz. A lot of people showed up to shred this wonderful package of wood. Dominik Wagner came in first amazing everyone with his quick lines and uncanny transfers. Austria's posterboy, Stefan Horngacher, also went strong at this contest trying to outstrip Dominik's win. Check out the edit below.
