'Take Your Time' has come a long way from its first iteration. I first got the idea with Jonathan Labez in late December 2010. We formed a video around the BDC, an inside joke involving a handful of us as part of a 'crew'. Our good friend, Anthony Gallegos, was moving up north the next month to go to university, so we wanted to make a friends video before he left to remember us by. Our goal was to finish his section before he left, and continue filming for a few months. Things snowballed from there!
Wether it be his immaculate shoe collection, distinct style of blading or his persistent attitude to be on his game, Jeremy truly keeps it clean and professional. With an undeniable love for rollerblading and no sign of slowing down – yet the opposite with his move up to AM on undercover wheels – you can count on catching more and more of this dude shredding. So keep your eyes peeled.
First Sundays was awesome as usual, we had over 50 people at this session come out and enjoy a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon at the new Lincoln Skate Plaza. We had people like Kruise Sapstein, Rob G, Anthony Williams, Russell Day, Chris Calkins, Rudy Avila, of course Jeremy Soderburg who is one of the organizers and a ton of other rippers. The skate park has such a nice flow to it and I spent most of my time on skating the nice small p-rail which was a lot fun for everyone. We had a 50 person p-rail session going on at one point during the day.
We have so many skate parks in LA county. We also have a huge blade scene that is growing faster than ever. With those two things in mind Jonathan Labez, Jeremy Soderburg and myself, Quinn Feldman, decided to put together "First Sunday Sessions." So every first Sunday of every month we pick a skate park and organize a giant session.
Ever wonder what's going on inside the head of Quinn Feldman, the man behind A Chosen Few? Well, you posed the questions, here are his answers!
I've been filming Anthony for a while now and there's a huge stack of clips to prove it. I thought I would thin out the folder and put out an promo/throwaway edit with these clips. They're all 2nd angle, there's a better trick, or otherwise unusable for anything else. And I still have enough for another edit or two and not even reach the bottom! Hopefully this is a taste of things to come. -Jonathan Labez
A few months back Anthony Gallegos (the only Xsjado ambassador in the US), Gregory Preston, Jonathan Labez and a couple others went on a trip from LA up to San Francisco to visit Xsjado AM, Kevin Yee for the weekend. Jonathan Labez documented the ...
