After a successful year with events in Bremen, Leipzig, Bonn, and Wuppertal, the finals of Grindhouse Miniramp Masters 2011 took place on the 17th of December in Cologne, Germany. In the second year of its creation, the series was host to over 100 competitors. Skaters from all over the country attended and made the final event one to remember.
„Back to the roots!“ is this years Winterclash mission statement and so is ours! As we did it with the last rollTogether in Eindhoven, we are going to host another session right before the famous Winterclash! So Area51 will not only host one of the biggest competitions but also the biggest session within less than a month!
Are you ready for the traditional Xmas Jam Hamburg? It seems like Europe is gathering for this year's last big competition. The organizer (Maik Lojewski) not only expect the German rolling crowd to represent in Hamburg - but also a lot of people from different other countries in Europe and some special guests. The local scene in Hamburg is pretty stoked about the upcoming event. Christoph Böttcher just put together a short Max Visser pre-session edit to increase the tension for this year's Xmas Jam. Hello again from Sweden! Here we go with a last update from the rollTogether session that took place this past saturday (June 5th). As said before the level of skating in Sweden and in Scandinavia is pretty high. There are a lot of undiscovered talents. You will hear from them very soon! Be sure about that! The people of the skatepark, especially Lasse and Fredrik Andersson, gave all skaters a warm welcome and helped to make this rollTogether session to one of its best. Lasse (skatepark manager) and his team are doing a great job at the ZeroOneSix-skatepark - not only by managing one of the best Rollerblading skateparks in Europe but also by setting up a new big work force of Rollerbladers!
The rollTogether crew has arrived in sunny Stockholm on Wednesday (June 2nd). 26 degrees, blue sky and all those beautiful and friendly Swedish girls. The first two days we have spent our time in lovely Stockholm shredding up this vibrant city with our local guide, Kenth Ulvedal.
