It's not really hard to forget the first time that I met Sam, it must have been over ten years ago now at Chi park. I remember watching this little guy, barely pushing 4' 9", tearing up the park almost fearlessly in what I can only assume were his dad's clothes, with more enthusiasm than I had ever seen at that forsaken place.
Ivan Narez has been a busy man lately. Filming, editing and constructing the deluxe STYDII series along with the upcoming Valo V video is a daunting task but he's up to it not only behind the camera but also in front of it. Take a quick peek at what we have in store for the latest print issue.

After suffering the assaults of unfavorable weather on the first 2 stops of the tour, we were hoping to find some good weather down south. It's June 20 and we spent the day on the road again. Once again under gray skies we left the English capital towards Dover in order to board the ferry which would take us back to the mainland. The ride was rather good; we played games and we talked about everything and nothing, laughing all the way. After crossing 5 countries and spending approximately 10 hours on the water and the road, we arrived in Germany. Cologne was the second stop of this tour, a destination that also included only one day of skating so we had to be productive.
It's about 6am in the morning, I am with Nicolas Auroux and Mathieu Heinemann in this train bringing us to the meeting spot of the 3rd edition of the famous Nomades Tour. We are the first to arrive, quickly followed by Warren Digne and Robert Guerrero. Finally Mathias Silhan and Stefan Horngacher are here after a hard night partying...It's a rainy first day on our way to Calais, taking a ferry-boat to Britain's south coast.
'The Breakfast Club' is the newest video project out of the Netherlands, aka Holland, or for some people just Amsterdam! That is precisely where the maker of this project is from. We are speaking of Cavin Brinkmann, supported by his sidekick, the no less infamous dog Bobby! Cavin is the dude that you see dancing in those crazy Dutch edits. Do not get the wrong idea though, Cavin is a guy that puts all his energy into what he does. Living in Amsterdam has not made him a drug addict that would abandon skating for a high – skating and filming skating is his high!
